A Prima Mixed Media canvas

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a project on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog and I have something a little bit different for this week. I have finally got around to using my Prima Mixed Media doll stamp and made a canvas.
The canvas is approximately 8x8 and the doll fits on it perfectly. I used radiant rain paints, cosmic shimmer sprays and distress inks with some masks to make the background which I then dried with my heat gun.

I used one of the new Artistic Stamper stamp sets for my sentiment which I stamped in the top right corner. I ripped pieces of Prima paper from the  Sunny Days pad and stuck them on the canvas and distressed them with Distress stains.

When they were in place and added lots of flowers on top including a new resin cabouchon which matched the papers perfectly and some wooden buttons and punched and wooden butterflies.

I stamped the doll onto one of the tags from the Prima Tag Pad and then coloured her in with my Promarkers. The dress was paper pieced using a paper from the Sunny Days Pad. I then cut her out and added her to the canvas using my glue gun. As a finishing touch, I dotted around a few words from the Tim Holtz chit chat stickers pad and some enamel dots and gems and pearls. I have entered my Canvas into the latest Craft Stamper Challenge.
I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Little Miss Muffet DT - Rubber stamp and digi release day

Hello Everyone! It's release day at Little Miss Muffet today and we have lots of lovely new goodies for you to play with. There is a small rubber release and some gorgeous new digi images I know you are going to love! I have made a card using one of the new Swings and Slides digis. You can see all the new releases here. I coloured this little cutie in with my Promarkers to match the papers I used which are various scraps I found hanging around on my desk!

I die cut a banner and stamped a Paper Smooches sentiment on it and then popped my little coloured character on top. The buttons have been in my stash for ages and I finished with a couple of little My Mind's Eye enamel dots. Make sure you check out the blog for lots of lovely inspiration from the DT and some more information on the new releases!

Sugar Nellie DT - A Gorgeous Girl Sitting

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I am showing a CAS card I have made using the lovely Gorgeous Girl stamp called 'Sitting' which is available here from Funky Kits. I coloured my image in with Promarkers to match the My Mind's Eye papers I used and then cut her out leaving a small border.

I stitched through all the layers of papers and stamped the Hero Arts sentiment on the middle strip. I added a simple organza flower from my stash and a stick on pearl.

Here is a little close up of my coloured in image. She has really funky tights and I love her cute little dress! I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

The Ribbon Girl DT - April Colour Challenge - Ivory/Cream

Hello again! I am back with my DT card for this month's Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge. Our colour theme this month is 'Ivory/Cream' and I was initially going to make a Wedding card but couldn't find the stamp I had planned to use so chose this lovely new stamp by Diane Duda instead which is called 'I carry your Heart with me'. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and paper pieced the dress using some of the My Mind's Eye papers I had used on my card. These papers are left overs from a very old pad.

After I had stamped my papers with the sentiment and layered them up, I wrapped them with some Silk ribbon and Mermaid sparkle ribbon and added a bow topped with a cream button. I also added some stickles to the heart the girl is carrying.

I went a bit crazy with the flowers and created a little arrangement using Kordt and Godt rolled flowers, tiny blossoms, cherry blossom, berries, roses and a resin flower. I added a wooden heart button to a ripped ticket which I stuck into the arrangement with a memo pin. All the buttons are tied with button twine. I tucked some jute mesh behind some of the flowers and finished with some tiny little pearls.

Our Inspiration this month comes from this photograph

and if you join in with our Challenge you may be able to win a £10 gift voucher generously donated by the lovely ladies at Lili of the Valley

and a £10 voucher towards a shopping spree in the Ribbon Girl online store

Enjoy the rest of your Weekend!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Flowers week

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today I am kicking off a Floral themed week. I have made a card using one of the gorgeous new Inklylicious stamps called 'Blowing Bubbles'. Unfortunately, it has sold out but there are loads of other fabulous Inkylicious shadow stamps in stock which would also look great on a card like this.

In keeping with the floral theme, I used a gorgeous backing paper from the Glitz Designs 'Uncharted Waters' pad. I stamped the image straight onto one of the backing papers and cut it out before I added it to a stamp edged die cut. The little words are from a Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers pad.

I also added some Jute mesh, some paper flowers and a heart pin and finished with a couple of tiny buttons and some stick on pearls. Make sure you join us all next week on the blog for some fabulous floral inspiration from the My Mum's Craft Shop DT! Have a lovely Sunday!

Little Miss Muffet DT for the LMMS Challenge - Food Glorious Food!

Hello Everyone! It's time for a new Challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog. Our theme this fortnight is 'Food Glorious Food'. Now I don't know about you but I definitely count sweets and chocolate as being a major food group so I have used the lovely 'Swings and Slides Lollipop' on my card.

I used some very sweet and sugary My Mind's Eye papers from the My Girl pad on my card and coloured my little Lollipop to match with my Promarkers using a new blonde combo for me. I used Raw Sienna, Gold, Mustard and Vanilla and I really like how it turned out so I will try this one again! I added some flowers from The Ribbon Girl and a lovely pink ribbon which I topped with a wooden button and a sentiment from Pink Petticoat. I finished with some lovely enamel dots.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for all the details and some great inspiration from the DT! Have a lovely Thursday"

These are great for making quick cards or when you just don't have time to colour an image. I have used the 'Baking with Grandma' set which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop.

The small cream flowers are new in at My Mum's Craft shop and you can get them here. The gorgeous lace I used is available here from The Ribbon Girl.

I used a Go create die to cut the base card for my second card and added more Carta Bella papers. The sentiments I used on both my cards are from Craftwork cards. My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Spots and Stripes week

Hello Everyone! I'm back! I can't believe I have not updated my blog for so long! We have spent the past couple of weeks working on our house and not everything went quite to plan at first so there was no time to craft. I am kicking off a 'Spots and Stripes' theme week today on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog. We have finally started to see a little bit of Sun so I thought I would make a nice cheery card using some of the gorgeous new Echo Park papers from the Sweet Girl pad.

I used a spotty paper from the pad to layer some of the gorgeous flower paper onto and sewed around the edges. I used some stripey which I wrapped with a lovely springy yellow ribbon.

The stamp I have used is from My Favourite things and is called 'Party time' she is available here from My Mum's Craft shop. I coloured her in with my Promarkers and cut her out leaving a small border before adding her to the card with foam pads. I finished with a sentiment, some flowers from my stash and stick on pearls. I hope you have a lovely Weekend!
