Sugar Nellie DT - Summer Smiles

Hello again! It's my day for posting on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I am showing a card I have made using the Summer Adorables digi image Summer Smiles which is available here from Funky Kits. I used some old papers and lace from my stash on the card and coloured the image in with my Promarkers before I cut her out leaving a small border.

I added a My Favourite Things sentiment and some paper flowers from The Ribbon Girl to match the papers and finished with some stick on pearls.

Here is a little close up of my image.  I added some stickles to the flowers on her shoes and the little hearts on her bag and top to give her a bit of extra sparkle. I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

I {heart} Maurice

Hello Everyone! I hope you are well and had a good start to the week. We had a very successful day at the Carboot sale on Sunday but I was exhausted tired yesterday! All the Sun and fresh air made me very tired! I have a card to share with you today which I made using an older Pollycraft image of my favourite Maurice. The card is for my Best Friend's Dad who is retiring at the end of this month.

I used Echo Park papers from the 'Note to Self' 6x6 pad and added some Glitz Designs stickers and a gorgeous red ribbon from Hobbycraft.

The little tab is punched with a Stampin' up punch and I coloured Maurice in with a mixture of Promarkers, Flexmarkes and Graph'it markers. Doesn't he look fab in his funky red shirt! I finished with a stick on pearl and a little wooden button. I hope you have a good Tuesday!

MY Mum's Craft Shop DT - Summer!!

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all well and enjoying this gorgeous Summery weather we have been having lately. Our theme this week on the My Mum's Craft shop blog is Summer. which is rather fitting! I must admit, when the themes were chosen I was expecting it would be raining and cold as usual! How wrong was I?

I have used some lovely Summery Echo Park papers on my card and a fun stamp by My Favourite things called 'Aloha' which is available here. I cut the beach and the sea using the Dienamics Snowdrift die and popped some green mesh under the sand bank, a paper flower, starfish charm and some stick on pearls around them. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a die and layered onto others circles  to look a bit like a sun.

Here is a close up of my image which was coloured with Graph'it pens and Promarkers. I cut her out leaving a small border before adding her to the card with foam pads. I hope you have a lovely Sunday! I will be attending the Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace today!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - You're a Hoot!

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the My Mum's Craft shop blog and I have made some CAS cards using the adorable 'You're a Hoot' stamps which are available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I used a woodgrain paper from the Echo Park 'Here and now' pad for my first card. I rounded one of the corners of the card and the blue paper with a corner punch and sewed around the edges after I had die cut a circle in the centre.

I stamped the owl on white card with brown in and layered him behind the aperture using foam pads and added a sentiment I had stamped onto a banner shape underneath it. I then finished with a tiny pearl and flower.
I made a second mini card using the same set and some yellow paper from the same Echo Park pad. The card is really tiny and only measures 9cm square.

I stamped the sentiment and Owl in black Archival ink this time and added a resin flower and a little gem to finish. I hope you have a lovely Sunny Sunday!

Ali Craft DT card for the Ali-Craft Challenge - Butterflies

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Ali-Craft blog today and we have a lovely theme for you this time. The theme this month is 'Butterflies' and I used some gorgeous Artistic Outpost stamps from the Happiness set on my card which is available here from Ali-Craft.

I added more detail with the Victorian Velvet and also inked around the edges with this colour. I then sewed this panel on to a square of black card.

I stamped hte butterfly image onto kraft and cut it out before adding it to my card with foam pads. I then stamped the butterfly image onto white card and coloured it with alcohol markers before cutting it out and attaching it to the panel by it's body so the wings could be lifted. I then finished with some stick on pearls and a paper flower. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge for the chance to win a £15.00 voucher for Ali-Craft. Have a lovely Saturday!
