Schooldays ATCS
I have some ATCs to share with you today I made for the Addicted to ATCs monthly swap. The theme this month is Schooldays so I made some ATCs using some papers I recently bought from Sarah's Cards along with some ledger paper which I punched with an EK success punch.
I used an adorable digi stamp by Lori Boyd which I bought from Die Cuts R Us. I coloured Lacie with my Promarkers in colours to match the papers and added glossy accents to her little apple. As a finishing touch, I added a lovely little spotty button from The Ribbon Girl. I adore this little digi image, Lori Boyd is so talented and I will definitely be treating myself to more of her lovely designs.
Have a great Tuesday!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - No Patterned paper!!!
I'm back again with my DT card for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge. The theme this week is 'No Patterned paper', I panicked a bit when I saw the theme as I do love my papers and then decided that embossing was the way to go!
I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss some white card and stamped an Elzybells sentiment along the bottom of the embossed piece. I then layered it on to some red card and sewed around the edges. I used Cuthbert skiing, this image is adorable, printed him on to textured card and coloured him with Promarkers.
The button is from The Ribbon Girl and the ribbon was from my stash.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge, we have a fabulous prize for you!

Guest Designer card for Die Cut Dreams - Teddy Bears Birthday
The very lovely and Sassy Susie asked me to be a Guest Designer for a Die Cut Dreams challenge and I was thrilled when she told me the theme...Teddy Bears Birthday!
I immediately thought of this stamp set by Elzybells as it fits the theme perfectly.
I decided to try something a little different and made a tri shutter card following a tutorial on the web.
I used Papermania card for my base card and American crafts paper from a pack I bought for a Bargain price in TKMaxx. The images were stamped onto smooth card and coloured with Promarkers. I added glossy accents to the spots on the presents
The lovely little spotty buttons were a gift from a crafty Friend. The sentiments were cut out using a Nesties label die. As a finishing touch I added a little bow and some pearls.
I hope you will be able to join the Die Cut dreams team and myself for this Challenge, make sure you pop over to the blog for lots of inspiration.
I'll be back later with another DT card!

Squigglefly Monday Challenge - Use your favourite embellishment
The Squigglefly Challenge this week is to use your favourite embellishment on your Project. It was very easy for me to decide which embellishment to use.....it had to be buttons! I really went to town and I did have to think twice about using so many precious buttons on one card but I think it was worth it!
I used a lovely image by Jane Beljo which I coloured in to match the gorgeous Echo Park papers.
I added a string of buttons below the image and another on a little bit of ribbon on the top left of the card.
The sentiment is by Elzybells.
I hope you have a great Monday and make sure you check out the blog for loads of inspiration from the Design Team.

Spooktacular wishes!
It's been a while since I have shared a card made using Di's wonderful digi images. I had some spare time yesterday morning before setting off for my day out with my Mum and Dad and made a Halloween card using Broomstick bear.
The papers I used are by My Mind's Eye and I used a very simple layout with a bit of stitching.
I added glitter to the star and glossy accents to the pumpkin. The sentiment is by Elzybells and the ribbon, button and twine are from The Ribbon Girl.
I am going to the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show today at Ally Pally, I can't wait to get there and spend some pennies, I don't have a list but have some things I am hoping to find...
Have a fabulous Sunday!

Squigglefly release day - Quackers
It's release day at Squigglefly and I received some lovely new images by Revi Devi Paat to play with this week. The image I used for this card is called Quackers and I decided to make a bright card as an antidote to the wintery weather we had yesterday.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and used a piece of American crafts paper from my scraps box.
The gorgeous buttons are from The Ribbon Girl. Make sure you check out Squigglefly today to see all the great new images.
Have a great Saturday!

All I want for Christmas wordbooks
I fell in love with all the papers in the latest paper download from Funky Hand so I was delighted when Anice released matching Wordbooks for both collections.
I made the first book using the Tradtional download. You can't tell from the photo but I printed these letters 2 to a page so you end up with a mini size wordbook. I actually made this one into a card by sticking the N and O together and the E to the L. All the embellishments were from my stash. The twine is from The Ribbon Girl
I love these papers and colours! This book was made using the Trendy Wordbook collection. I used the very handy alpha-bits to spell out some of my sentiment and the snowflake is a digi from the All I want for Christmas download. The ribbon and charm were from my stash and the Twine and button are from The Ribbon Girl.
Have a great Thursday!

A Silver Wedding Anniversary card
I have a quick share for you today. This is an Anniversary card I made a few weeks ago for my Hubby's Friend's Silver Wedding Anniversary. My Hubby asked him to make them a card and to make a holiday themed card.
I used an image from Bugaboo and lots of silver. The ribbon was from my stash and the number are American Crafts which I double heat embossed with silver glittery embossing powder.
I have had such a busy weekend! I went to the Craft Show at Sandown yesterday and was a little disapointed but not to worry as I am off to Ally Pally at the weekend. I have been making lots cards which I cannot share with you yet and my house is a mess! I have a couple more cards to make and then I am planning to have a rest from Cardmaking for a few days to get my life back in order before next weekend!
Have a great Monday!

Crafty Emma's Challenge no 4 - Baby Bonanza
I have been a bad blogger! I have been so busy this week with one thing and another that I had no time to update my blog! I apologise for being so late in posting my DT card for the CES Challenge. Better late than never suppose!
The Challenge theme this week chosen by Vicky is 'Baby Bonanza'. This gave me the perfect excuse to use some of my new Elzybells stamps! The papers I used are by Memory Box and are available from Crafty Emma's store as is the little teddy charm.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge, the prize for one lucky winner is a set of gorgeous fabric brads and ribbons by My Mind's Eye.
I am sat watching the Help for Heroes concert I went to last weekend, this week has certainly flown by! I am off to the Stitch and Creative Craft Shows at Sandown Race course tomorrow! Can't wait!
Have a great weekend!

Squigglefly Challenge - My favourite Squigglefly image.
The theme this week on the Squigglefly Challenge blog is 'My favourite Squigglefly image'. It took me a while to choose a favourite! There are so many images I love to use available in the shop but there is one which I use more often than others as it is so versatile.....
This cupcake image is part of a set by Jane Beljo and it can be used for so many occasions and can be coloured so it can be given to any recipient and let's face it...who does not love cupcakes?
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge to show us your favourite Squigglefly image.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Autumn Colours
Hi everyone! It's Monday and time for another Pollycraft Challenge. This week its my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen the theme
'Autumn Colours'
I love Autumn and the way our countryside changes colour, I like the chilly mornings which turn in to warmer afternoons and walking through the fallen leaves. It was such a treat to use lovely warm cosy colours on my DT card. I have been making lots of Christmas cards recently and I am getting a bit tired of Red and Green :-)
For my card, I used this amazing Cherry Kisses image which is called 'Remembering'.
I coloured her in with Promarkers to match these stunning Wild Rose Studio papers which are available from Crafty Emma's store. The flowers are from Petaloo, I bought them when I was on my holiday. I just realised there are no buttons, string or ribbon on this card! Now that doesn't happen to me very often!

Squigglefly release day - Skating Princess
I am a little late sharing the card I made with one of the new images that was released today at Squigglefly.
I have had a very busy morning making cards and doing a bit of preparation for my stall at a Christmas Fayre in November.
I made this card using Ice Skating Princess by Revi Devi Paat . This little ice skater is so sweet and perfect for girlie Christmas cards. I used some lovely October Afternoon papers to create a scene for the little ice skater and stiched around the edges with my sewing machine. I stamped a sentiment and then added some gorgeous ribbon and a button, both are from the Ribbon Girl. I have recently treated myself to lots of lovely goodies from this wonderful shop, make sure you drop by and take a look if you haven't discovered them yet!
Have a great Saturday!

More Funky Christmas cards
When Anice gave us a sneaky peek at her latest Christmas download which was released this week, I was so taken by the patterns and colours I made loads of cards! I have already shared a few with you but I have a couple more for you today.
Both these cards use the snowflake digi stamp which is part of the download. In the first card I used two snowflakes and cut one up to add to the corners of the card. The sentiment is part of the download.
For this card, I cut out the snowflake and added pearls to it before covering it with glossy accents and lots of glamour dust to make it sparkle!
Make sure you check out the Funky Hand Gallery to see the rest of the DT projects made with this Funky Download!
Have a great Friday!

Some ATCs
I have a few ATCs to share with you today. These are all ATCs I made for the Addicted to ATCs swap I run with my good Friend Petra.
The first three were for our latest monthly swap. The theme was 'Make a Splash' so I used this lovely little Elzybells stamp.
The next two are ATCs I created to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the swap. Participants were given letters to spell out 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' and we had to decorate an ATC using these letters.
The letters will then all be attached to a Banner and we will be drawing a name out of the hat from all the participants for a chance to win the banner. If you would like to see the rest of the letters or find out more about our regular Monthly swap, please pop over the Addicted to ATCs blog.

WOYWW?
My desk is quite tidy today even though it did see some crafty action last night. I received lots of stamps for a commission earlier this week so stamped out all the images ready to get started when the paper I ordered from Crafty Emma's Store arrive.
There are a few little packets strewn over my desk which contain lovely ribbons and buttons I ordered from The Ribbon Girl which I intend to use in my Project. When I was looking through them last night, I was so inspired by one little button, I made the card you can see on the desk! I love it when inspiration strikes like that!
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my desk, if you would like to see more or share a photo of yours, please pop over to Julia's where you will receive a warm welcome!

An underwater scene...
Quick share for you today, I had a very busy weekend and did only a little bit of crafting on Saturday morning, we went to a Party on Saturday night and I got a few crafty goodies on a little shopping spree Sunday morning then tidied up my bedroom/craft area so everywhere is spick and span!
I made this card a few days ago when I was having a tidy through my printed digis and stamped images. I couldn't resist glittering the cutie pie Merian's tail. I am a little bit addicted to glitter at the moment!
I paper pieced a scene and stitched around the edges and then added an underwater plant made from paper flowers, pearl stamens and a stick on pearl. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.
Have a great Monday! My youngest Son is starting secondary school today so I will be on edge all day at work hoping he gets on ok!

A Funky Christmas
Anice released a fabulously Funky new download yesterday at Funky Hand called 'All I want for Christmas' so I have a few Christmas cards to share with you today. The colours Anice has used for the latest download are so lovely! Pink and green mixed with a bit of red are the ideal recipe for a Funky Christmas!
The download includes some digi stamps, the sentiment I used above is from the set, I cut it out by hand and then added it to the card with foam pads.
This candy cane is also in the set, I cut it out, added glitter to the black stripes and then covered the candy cane with lots of glossy accents to make a lovely embellishment. Aren't those spots and stripes to die for?
The sentiment stamp is by Paper make up available from Quixotic Paperie.
For the last card, I coloured the trees in with my Quickie Glue pen and then covered them with glitter. The letters are from Papermania and My Little Shoebox and the pink buttons I used on the first and this card are by American Crafts and match the papers perfectly!
Make sure you check out the Funky Hand website to get your download and to check out more lovely samples from the Funky Hand Design Team.
Have a great Sunday!

Jane's Doodles new Poinsettia stamp and a giveaway.
Jane has new digi stamp available for you to buy here from Squigglefly. This lovely Poinsettia image is lovely and looks great layered up.
I made three flowers in different sizes to decorate the front of my card. All the papers used are BoBunny.
I added a touch of glitter to the centre of my flowers and then finished off with a couple of gems and some fabulous American Crafts letters.
Jane has cut down the size of her DT and this is my last Project as part of Jane's Doodles Design Team.
It has been lots of fun and I learnt a lot about digi stamps as using her designs was my first venture into digital crafting.
If you would like to win this image, please leave a comment on this post and I will draw the winner Sunday evening.

A Pollycraft Football card
I have been so busy the past few days with commissions and ATCs that I didn't have time to share anything!
I have a card to show you today which I made for one my commissions. When I delivered it, I immediately got an order for another one in blue!
I used 'Jack - In the Game' from Pollycraft. I really love this image and have used it a few times already.
The backing paper is by Papermania and the red striped paper is the reverse of some really pretty Christmas paper. The Football buttons were in my stash and I think they came from my Son, he bought them when he ventured for a short time into crafting.
The sentiment was a freebie a long time ago and I can't remember from where, if I find it again, I will update with a link. The letters are American Crafts and the numbers are by Prima.
Have a great Friday!

My First DT project for the Get Funky Challenge!
The catch is that we need to see lots of dimension in the way you use the flowers, so just a flower patterned paper, or a flat flowery image just won't cut it! Think lots of layers or try making your own 3d flowers
You must you use at least one Funky Hand product to be eligible for the prize.
I used papers from the Dreams come True CD to cover a photo frame and then layered lots of flowers in the corner of the frame.
I loved mixing the spots and stripes in this colour collection to create lots of texture.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. Make sure you check out the blog for loads of inspiration from the Fabulous DT!

WOYWW???
I missed WOYWW 3 weeks in a row due to my holidays and being ill last week. Now I am back and my desk is messy. I didn't make any cards last night but I did do some sewing. I made a keyring and 4 pincushions which I will be selling at the Fair I will be doing in November.
There are various other random items on the desk, some punched leftovers, my phone as I forgot to put it back after speaking to my Mum and Dad, my work badge and my hair/ribbon straighteners :-)
There are also some red felt hearts I cut out of thick red felt. I have made one into a brooch but I am not sure if I like it yet...
I hope you have enjoyed having a look around my desk and and can forgive me my mess! If you would like to see lots more desks and maybe share a photo of yours, please pop over to the lovely Julia's blog.
Have a great Wednesday and don't forget to enter my blog candy (link is in the sidebar).
