Pollycraft DT for the Pollycraft Challenge - Buttons and Bows

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Pollycraft blog. Our theme this week was an easy one for me...it's Buttons and Bows! I love adding buttons to my cards and have lots of buttons in my stash which I love using or just looking at! I used 3 of them on my card and threaded them with some gorgeous hemp twine from The Ribbon Girl which I also tied in a bow on my tag which I popped between the layers on my card.
The cute little Monster I have used on my card is called 'Spike' and he is a classic from the Pollycraft cave. You can find him here. I coloured him in with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Graph'it pens and cut him out leaving a small border before adding him to my card. The papers I have used are from the Echo Park 'For the Record Documented' pad and I layered them on to kraft before adding them to my card. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge. The DT have made some fabulous cards to inspire and if you take part, you may win a  £10 shopping spree at Pollycraft!

Have a great Wednesday!

Pollycraft DT for the Pollycraft Challenge - Fun in the Sun

Hello Everyone! Another fortnight has flown by and it is now time for a brand new Challenge on the Pollycraft Challenge blog. Our theme this time is 'Fun in the Sun' and I have used the lovely Lil' Dumplins Nipper on my card. I coloured him in to match the Echo Park Paradise Beach papers I used on my card and then cut him out using a Spellbinders die.

I added some jute mesh ribbon under the image and used a Stampin up Punch for the tab which was stamped with a My Favourite Things sentiment.

My Image was coloured with a mix of Promarkers and Graph'it pens and I added some orange stickles as sparkly sand. I hope you will be able to join us for our latest Challenge for the chance to win a £10 shopping spree at Pollycraft... Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the DT too!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Fabric

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a lovely Easter Sunday and had lots of yummy treats! I did lots of crafting yesterday and lots of relaxing and I am looking forward to having another day off today and hope to fit in a bit more crafting! Monday is Pollycraft Challenge day and our theme this week has been set by the lovely Lou and she has chosen...

FABRIC!

She would like to see fabric on your cards, either felt, twine, raffia, ribbon, linen...the choice is yours!
I have used the lovely Celeste Amberglow 'Farmin' apples' on my card who is available here from Pollycraft.
I coloured her in with Promarkers to match my gorgeous October Afternoon papers and added a Whiff of Joy sentiment stamped on Kraft.

I added fabric to my card in the form of Bias binding which is available here from the Ribbon Girl. I ironed it out so it looked frayed before adding it to my card. I finished with some lovely flowers, a charm from The Hobby House and a tiny button I bought at the NEC.
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. The prize this week is a £10 voucher from Sew Sweet!! Make sure you check out their shop full of yummy ribbon and felt! :)
Make sure you take a look at the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the Pollycraft DT.
Have a lovely Monday!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Choklit!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a lovely Weekend. Mine was FAB! I had a great trip to the NEC and met some of my wonderful bloggy buddies including The Ribbon Girls, Deirdre from Colour and Ink, my WOJ teamie Sandie and the lovely Clare Curd who held a brilliant workshop for the Fiskarettes.
It was a great day even before I started shopping! I bought a few new dies, some papers, lots of reels to tidy my stash of twine but only one stamp! Today is Pollycraft Challenge day and we have a fab theme for you this week which is ....Choklit! We want to see Chocolate on your card, either the colour or an image incorporating Chocolate.

I have used the fab Fluffy Wabbit who has a lovely yummy Easter egg and teamed him with some gorgeous papers from my scraps basket including a lovely chocolate brown paper which I think is by Basic Grey. I added lots of stitching and a sentiment by Pollycraft and some lovely bright red spotty ribbon.
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge for the chance to win a fab prize of a pack of Promarkers from Letraset

Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from the DT!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - These are a few of my favourite things

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend, I was very busy and can't believe it's Monday already. We have a great theme for you this week on the Pollycraft Challenge blog which is...
These are a few of my favourite things

I have made a card using my favourite Pollycraft Critter, spots and stripes which are also my favourite, my favourite spotty buttons and my favourite gingham ribbon. It's quite a small card but it is packed full of my favourite things! I even coloured Fluffy using my favourite Promarker colours!

The papers I used are mostly from Echo Park and the transfer sentiment is by Melissa Frances.
I stitched around the edges of the layers using some lovely thick red cotton and added them to a scalloped card base.

I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge and show us some of your Favourite things, we have a fab sponsor this week! If you take part in the Challenge you will have the chance of winning a £10.00 voucher to spend in Crafty Emma's Store.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Punch it!

Good Morning Everyone! I can't believe it's nearly Christmas! I am really looking forward to Sunday and to seeing my boys open their presents. I am also looking forward to not making anymore Christmas cards for a while!

LinkLinkWe have been having a break over on the Pollycraft Challenge and we have loved seeing all your entries to our four week Christmas Fun Challenge. I made my last (I hope!) Christmas card for this week's Challenge using Dexter the Penguin.
Sheena has chosen our Challenge theme of 'Punch it' and I used my Martha Stewart Snowflake punch to punch a border along the edge of my card. I used Fancy Pants Winterland Papers which are gorgeous and used some of the small label shapes mounted on card to add my sentiment to with Making Memories tiny alpha stickers. I then added a black gingham bow and some of the punched snowflakes. I added a pom pom to Dexter's hat and some glitter and finished with some tiny stick on pearls.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge, the DT have made some fab cards to inspire you and we have a great prize for the winner. You can see all the details here!
Have a great Monday!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Girls, Girls, Girls!

Good Morning Everyone! I apologise for my absence the past few days, I have stepped down from the CES Challenge DT as I am so busy these days so my regular DT post was missing. I hope you had a lovely weekend, mine was busy, lots of crafting Saturday and lots of sorting out my bedroom yesterday. My wardrobes now have hanging rails and I have finally been able to put my clothes away! Anyway, enough of my weekend, I have a lovely card to share with you today!

Our Challenge theme this week on the Pollycraft Challenge chosen by the lovely Cazza is....

Girls, Girls, Girls!

I love the Swings and Slides and had so much fun colouring this Lil Kitty image, a lot of my teamies chose her as well this week, it is such a sweet and girly image.
I used My Mind's Eye papers to create my layout and coloured the image using Flexmarkers. I used some lovely ribbon from the Ribbon Girl and flowers from my stash and the adorable Butterfly button is from Crafty Emma's Store. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. Our sponsor is Sew Sweet and they are offering a £10.00 voucher to spend in their lovely Shop.
