A Bue and Yellow Robotastic card for the Graph'it Marker colouring Challenge

Hello Everyone! I hope you are well. It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Graph'it Marker colouring challenge blog and our colour theme this week is Springtime inspired with fresh blues and yellows. I have made a card using some scraps by My Mind's Eye and Fancy Pants and a fabulous stamp set by the Alley Way which is available here.

Colours used: 7260,7240, 7220, 7210, 1210, 1280, 1140, 1110

I coloured the image using my favourite blues  and used soft yellows which compliment them so well. I kept my layout simple and added a sentiment from the set and some gorgeous ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and finished with some brads, a button and a pearl from my stash. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge for the chance to win some lovely Graph'it goodies! This will be my last post for a while as I am going in today to have a small operation on my hand to remove a troublesome lump so I will be taking an enforced break from crafting and blogging for a couple of weeks. Have a lovely Friday!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Thanks

Hello Everyone! It's my day for posting on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today and I have a Thank You card to share. Now the huge task of making Christmas cards is over I always find myself making a lot of Thank you cards for the lovely presents I received over Christmas.

I love the Pure Innocence 'It's a sign' set which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop as she comes with lots of messages for all occasions. I used papers from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Girl pad for my card and cut a stiched circle and Fishtail banner using Dienamics to build up my card layout. All that was needed to finish the card was to pop my image coloured with Graph'its on top. I added a little bow tied from twine to the coloured frame and some little flowers as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Ali Craft DT for the Ali Craft Challenge - A Daahling Doo Lally Pip!

Hello Everyone! Apologies for the late post but I am finally here with my card for this month's Ali-Craft Challenge. Our 1st Challenge of the year has an 'Anything Goes' theme so I created a card using one of the fabulous Lindsay Mason Doo Lally Pip stamps. This one is called 'Daahling' and is available here from Ali-Craft.

I coloured my image using Graph'it pens and paper pieced the coat using papers from the pad I used for my card which come from the Echo Park pad 'Beautiful Life'.  I distressed the edges of each layer and sewed around the edges and added a pom pom trim from The Ribbon Girl. I added flowers and wooden hearts from my stash and some punched butterflies and gems. I hope you will be able to join us for this month's Challenge. Make sure you check out the blog for all the details and some inspiration from the DT. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - A hanging shadow box for the January 'Love' Challenge

Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you had a lovely New Year's Eve and I wish you all the best for 2014. The first of the month means a brand new Challenge on the My Mum's Craft Shop  blog and our theme this month is 'Love' . I made a shadow box using some packaging I save from a mobile phone cover my Husband bought after Christmas. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to alter it!

I covered the box inside and out using some gorgeous papers by My Mind's Eye from the
Lost & Found Record It Heirloom pad which is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I covered the back of the box using some kraft paper from Paperchase. I covered some wooden hearts from my stash with some papers from the pad and inked the edges and added a sentiment from this Papersmooches set stamped onto a banner cut from paper from the pad. I inked around the edges of the hearts and the banner using Tea Dye Distress inks. I added some Pom Pom trim and lots of beautiful flowers from The Ribbon Girl. I also added a wooden button and little resin embellishment from My Mum's Craft Shop. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge for the chance to win a voucher from My Mum's Craft Shop. Enjoy the rest of your New Year's Day!
