Delightful Delia!

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today and  I have made a card with the adorable little Delia. Delia is one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps and I love colouring her in. I used various papers from My Mind's Eye on my card and coloured Delia in to match them using my Promarkers.

I sewed around the edges of all my layers and added a gorgeous pink ribbon which I topped with a spotty button. I added a stamped sentiment straight on to one of the patterned papers and embellished the card with lots of flowers, a wooden heart button and some punched butterflies topped with gems.

Here is a close up of my coloured image. I cut the image out leaving a small borde before sticking her to the card with foam pads and added stickles to her wand and to her headband as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

The Ribbon Girl DT for the January Challenge - Ivory and Pink

Hello again! I am back with my DT card for this month's Ribbon Girl Challenge. We have a fabulous colour combination for you this month and a great inspiration photo to get you started. Our colour theme is Pink and Ivory, such a beautiful combination! I have used some gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye on my card from the Sweetest thing Lavender pad. They are so beautiful and I love the soft pastel colours. I used a digital Fairy image from Some Odd Girl called the Forest Friend Fairy.

I coloured her in with my Promarkers and then added some glitter to her wings. I cut her out without leaving a border and added her to a die cut circle which I edged with some pom pom trim. I distressed the edges of all my paper layers with old paper ink and stamped a sentiment from a Paper Smooches set on a strip of paper before wrapping it with Ivory pleated ribbon and some pink zig zag lace. I decorated the card with lots of gorgeous flowers all from The Ribbon Girl Flower Shop.

Here is a close up of my coloured in image, I think she is so pretty and I love the way my colouring turned out. Hello Everyone! Just a quick post to share this card I was asked to make for a work colleague who has been seriously ill in hospital. I used an image by Mo Manning called 'Harry's Feeling ill'. It was such great fun to colour in. It took me ages but was very therapeutic.

I used a sentiment by Paper Smooches and the lovely checked paper is from October Afternoon and was layered on coordinating cardstock from K+CO. The ribbon is from Whiff of Joy.

Here is a close up of the coloured image. I had great fun colouring the patchwork quilt. All the colouring was done with Promarkers. I hope you have a lovely Wednesday.
