Little Miss Muffet release day - Sonny Honeycloud Poetry

Hello Everyone! It's a busy week for me! You are going to be hearing from me every day for the rest of this week! It's release day at Little Miss Muffet today and we have lots of great new rubber stamps for you as part of our Easter release. I have used the fabulous Sonny Honeycloud 'Poetry' on my card today.

I have used some gorgeous papers from American Crafts which were left over from a Commission. I coloured Sonny in using my Promarkers and then die cut her using a rectangle die. I added a Lili of the Valley sentiment and some stitching and lots of pretty flowers. I also added a vintage button from my stash and finished with some little stick on pearls.
Make sure you check out the blog for lots of inspiration from the DT using the new images and here is a little sneaky peek at all the new releases!

Sugar Nellie DT - Sporty

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today! I have made a bright and cheery boy's card using  a Manga stamp called Sporty which is available here from Funky Kits.

I used Echo Park papers on my card and a gorgeous turquoise riibbon. I used some gorgeous little wooden embellishments too which are perfect for boy's cards.
Here is a little close up of my coloured in image. I cut it out leaving a small border before adding it to my card with foam pads.

I hope you have a lovely Wednesday and make sure you put a date in your diaries to join us on Saturday for a blog hop to celebrate our Bags of Fashion release.

Sugar Nellie DT - Day Dreamer

Hello Everyone! I am back with my Sugar Nellie DT card for this week. I have had a busy weekend sorting out my craft room and only just managed to get back in there and make a couple of cards this evening. I have used a Leanne Ellis image called 'Day dreamer' for my card this week. I coloured her in with Promarkers and then cut her out before mounting her on to my card with foam pads.

I used October Afternoon papers which were leftover from a Magazine Commission and a sentiment from Penny Black. I found the flowers in a little jar which surfaced during my big tidy up and added a Little Miss Muffet die cut banner and a gorgeous little cage charm from the Ribbon Girl.

Here is a close up of my image. I added a little wooden bird embellishment above the cluster of flowers a wooden butterfly button and some punched butterflies and finished with some turquoise stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday evening!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - My Mind's Eye week

Good Morning Everyone! We are starting another themed week at My Mum's Craft shop today. Our theme this week is a great one for me as it is 'My Mind's Eye Papers' and My Mind's Eye are my abosolute favourite paper manufacturer! The image which I coloured in with my Promarkers is a My favourite things 'A la mode' stamp. She is currently out of stock but you can find lots of great alternative images here.  The sentiment on my card is from a Paper Smooches set.

I added some pretty pink ribbon and lots of flowers to finish for a perfect girly card. There is a special offer in this weekend at My Mum's Craft shop if you fancy treating yourself!

Little Miss Muffet DT - Blue and Yellow

Hello Everyone! We have a brand new Challenge for you today on the Little Miss Muffet blog. Our theme this fortnight is 'Blue and Yellow'. I love having a colour theme to work with as a base for my card and I found the perfect papers in my new ' All about a boy' Echo Park paper pad.

I used the adorable 'Call me Chester' on my card and coloured him in using my Promarkers and added some shading around the edge of the image using Distress inks. I die cut the image and added it to a shape cut with one of the brand new Spellbinders Dodecagon dies I received at the Workshop at Stitches. The sentiment I used is from a Paper Smooches set. I used a punch to create a notepad page which I stamped with a little Hero Arts telephone stamp and distressed the edges before adding it to my card. The gorgeous Ribbon is from the Ribbon girl as is the little paper flower and stick on pearls.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge, please check out the blog for all the details and some inspiration from the DT. Have a great Thursday!

A card for a Precious Baby Boy

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all well and having a good week so far. I have a little card to share with you today which I made a little while ago and forgot to blog. I made this card for my lovely Friend Luisa's gorgeous little baby Vinnie. I used Echo Park papers from an old pad and layered them onto kraft adding stitching around the edges.

The image I used is called Tiny Tot from Squigglefly and I coloured it with Promarkers. I used a sentiment from Pink Petticoat and die cut it into a banner shape and set it with an eyelet which I tied with twine. I finished with a bow topped with a button and some stick on pearls.
I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

The Ribbon Girl and My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Pure Innocence in Turquoise and Aqua

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and having a good Weekend so far. Mine is busy but great fun! We went to see Paloma Faith last night, she was totally amazing! Today I am going to the Craft trade show at the NEC for a mooch about and will be taking part in a couple of workshops and meeting up with some of my lovely craft Friends. My card for today is a dual purpose one, it is my DT card for this week for My Mum's Craft shop and my DT card for this month's Colour Challenge at the Ribbon Girl. Our colour theme this month is Turquoise and Aqua. I used lots of papers from one of the  brand new My Mind's Eye pads, the one I used is called 'Remarkable' and is available here.

I coloured and paper pieced my Pure Innocence 'Read all about it' image and added her to my card with foam pads after I cut her out leaving a small border. I used lots of goodies from the Ribbon Girl to embellish my card including pleated ribbon, paper flowers, button twine tied in a heart button, satin ribbon and a spotty button.

Here is a little close up of my image. I would love a gingham chair like this one but I don't think it would last long with our dog! I hope you will be able to join in with our Colour Challenge this month. The DT have made some fabulous samples to inspire you. You can check them all out here alongside the gorgeous colour inspiration photo.

The prizes for the colour challenge are:
a £10 voucher to spend in the Lili of the Valley online store where they have fabulous new stamps for Spring

and a £10 voucher to spend in The Ribbon Girl online store which has beautiful ribbons and embellishments for every craft project

Have a great Sunday!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Valentne's/Love themes week

Hello Everyone! We are starting another themed week today on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog. Our theme this week is 'Valentine's/Love'. There are lots of gorgeous love themed goodies in the shop at the moment so it was hard for me to pick which ones to use! I eventually settled on an adorable Pure Innocence stamp called 'Bear Hugs' and some Carta Bella papers from the 'Devoted' pad.

I stamped the sentiment from the set on a banner I cut using a Dienamics die and then added a heart cut from spotty paper using one of the dies from the Rustic Hearts set and topped it with a spotty button tied with twine.

Here is a close up of my coloured in image. I coloured her in with Promarkers and then paper pieced her dress using some of the hearts paper. I then cut her out leaving a small border before adding her to the card with foam pads. I finished with a little paper flower and a stick on pearl. Have a lovely Sunday!

My Mums's Craft Shop DT - Happy Birthday Ryan!

Hello Everyone! My eldest Son turned 16 today and I wanted to make him a funky birthday card he would actually like! I struggled to find a stamp which was suitable for a Teenage boy and then stumbled upon this fab digi image from Saturated Canary which looks like a lot like my Ryan. I used Echo Park papers from the Echo Park Scoot pad and a sentiment from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set.

I used the Dienamics Mini Double dot border to cut a fancy border to hide the join between the two papers and then sewed around the edges. The banner was cut using the Dienamics fishtail dies and I stamped some Whiff of Joy numbers on it and added die cut letters. I tied some twine around the banner before adding it to the card and popped a little spotty button on top.

Here is a close up of my coloured in image. I coloured him in with Promarkers and then cut him out leaving a small border before adding him to the card with foam pads. I finished off with a couple of little stick on pearls. I hope you have a lovely Sunday! We are going to a Christening today and then will be taking Ryan out for dinner this evening to celebrate.

I will leave you with a picture of the Birthday boy 16 years ago!

Happy Birthday Patric!

Hello Everyone! It's a special day today as my Best Friend's gorgeous little boy is turning 4. I don't know where the time has gone! He is mad about Cars so I wanted to add some to his Birthday card and thought this little image from Lili of the Valley was perfect.

This little cutie is called 'Little Lorry Bear' and is available here from Lili of the Valley. I coloured him in with my Promarkers to match these lovely Echo Park Papers from the 'Boy's Life' pad which is an older pad I still love. The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches 'Salutations' set and I added some letter stickers from my stash.

The number stamp is from Whiff of Joy and I added a couple of little buttons from my stash and a funky ribbon from the Ribbon Girl before finishing with a couple of pearls. I hope you have a lovely evening!
