My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Jeepers Creepers!!

Hello Everyone! I am back again today on the My Mum's Craft shop blog with something very bright and colourful for you! I have been playing with some of the new Woodware stamps which arrived this month at My Mum's Craft Shop.
The set I have used on this card is called 'Sneakers' and is available here. I teamed it with some gorgeous Doodlebug papers from the 'Lovebugs' pad and coloured it in with my Promarkers.

I added lots of stitching to the layers and some gorgeous Ribbons from The Ribbon Girl and die cut the sentiment with a Dienamics die before adding it to the card with foam pads. I accessorised with some wooden hearts and tiny buttons and stick on pearls and lots of paper flowers.

Here is a little close up of the shoes. I would love to own a pair like this! I have quite a collection of Converse trainers but don't really wear them that much anymore. I might treat myself to a pink pair this Summer! The pair below are one of my favourites, you can never go wrong with classic white...

I am entering my card in to the latest Ribbon Girl colour Challenge as this month's colour is pink! I hope you have a lovely Friday and stay nice and warm this Weekend.

A warm heart on a cold day

Hello Everyone! I hope you are well and have had a good week. I was inspired by last Saturday's Sketch Saturday Sketch to have a little play in my Craft Room last night. I made a card using some lovely Dovecraft Krafty Christmas papers.

The image is Pure Innocence Warm Winter by My Favourite Things and is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop.I coloured her in with my Promarkers and paper pieced her scarf with some of the gingham papers.I stamped the sentiment on to a banner and added some die cut snowflakes which I topped with a tiny red heart.

Here is a close up of my coloured image. I haven't coloured much lately and I really enjoyed getting my pens out and having a play. I added a tiny dot of stickles to the little snowball as a finishing touch.
Here is the lovely Sketch I followed.

I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely Weekend!

MMCSDT - You're an All Star!!

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a belated Happy New Year, I hope 2015 will be a good year for you. I had (another) break from crafting over Christmas, December was very busy and I did manage to make some Christmas cards for my family and some CAS ones to send to Friends but didn't manage to blog them. The lovely Kitty from My Mum's Craft Shop very kindly offered me to take my place back on the DT and today is my first post since I rejoined on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog.  I am also designing again for Quick Cards Magazine. It's really good to be back! The card I am sharing with you today was made with one of my favourite new dies, the Dienamics All Star High Tops. I used this one for my Son's Christmas card as he is a big Converse fan.

I used papers from the Carta  Bella Baby Mine pad which is available on special offer here. I used the latest Sketch Saturday sketch for my layout and added a little paper flower and some stick on pearls from The Ribbon Girl.

The sentiment and the star on the shoe were stamped using stamps from the coordinating stamp set which is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I love using this die as it can be made to look so different each time. I used some linen thread for laces and kraft card for the stripe on the sole. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely Friday!
