Little Miss Muffet DT - Cora Agnes Hatter

Good Morning Everyone! I'm a day late with my Little Miss Muffet DT post this week. I haven't been feeling very well this week but am off to the Doctor's today so hopefully I will be on the mend soon.  This week the DT are sharing a mixed bag of cards on the DT blog and I have a card to share with you today made with the lovely Cora Agnes Hatter image which was recently released at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and is available to buy here. I coloured her in to match these lovely girly papers from the My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing Honey' pad.

I used a Spellbinders label die to frame my image and a doily die to cut the plain cardstock onto which I sewed a circle of checked card. The gorgeous ribbon and pins are from The Ribbon Girl as are a couple of the little flowers. The sentiment I have used is from Hero Arts.

Here is a close up of the lovely Cora Agnes. I love her dress! I wouldn't mind a dress like that! I coloured her in with my Promarkers. I love the Hatters, it is my first time playing with them and I have a few more lined up ready to colour! I hope you have a lovely Friday and a good Weekend!

Sugar Nellie DT - Sent with Love

Good Morning Everyone! It's my day for posting on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I have a card to share with you which I made with one of my favourite Gorgeous Girls images called 'Sent with Love' which is available here from Funky Kits. I have coloured her to match these beautiful Autumnal papers from the 'Yours Truly' Glitz Design paper pad which came in my latest DT pack from My Mum's Craft Shop.

I have used one of my favourite layouts, layering all the papers onto kraft and stitching around the edges. I threaded the little tag with red lace and tied it with twine. The sentiment is an older stamp which I have had in my stash for a long time and I die cut it into a heart with a Spellbinders die.

My image was coloured with Promarkers and I added a little gem to her dress. I finished with some paper and a resin flower and more little gems. I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

I used papers from the My Mind's Eye 'Gnome Sweet Gnome' pad and the sentiment is from the Whiff of Joy 'General Sayings II' set stamped onto a ticket cut with a die from the Tickets set.

Here are the finished flowers I made using the two smallest flowers in the die set. I also added two die cut leaves. You can also see some of the lovely new charms from Whiff of Joy which are available here. I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!

Whiff of Joy DT - Wedding Congratulations

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well. I am so happy the Weekend has finally arrived. I will be busy though as I have a long list of things to do but at the moment, I'm having a long awaited lie in listening to the rain and waiting for inspiration to strike. One of my Friends from Uni is getting married next month so I was delighted when Katharina at Whiff of Joy released the Henry the Mouse digital stamps this month. There are lots of gorgeous images in the release including the one I have used below which is called 'Happy Couple cutting the cake' and is available here from Whiff of Joy.

I used My Mind's Eye papers from 'The Sweetest Thing' paper pad. I love the soft colours and the doily patterns. I think they are perfect for Wedding cards. The sentiment I have used is from Whiff of Joy from a set available here. All the papers were layered onto aqua card and stitched around the edges.
I added lots of flowers from The Ribbon Girl and a vintage distressed seam binding double bow which I topped with a resin flower which reminded me of the doilies.

Here is a close up of my image coloured with Promarkers. I added some glitter to the cake slice and embellished the bride with some little stick on jewels. The image was cut out leaving a small border and was added to the card using foam pads.

You can find all the other releases from Whiff of Joy for August here. I hope you have a lovely Saturday!

Sugar Nellie DT - Fairy cakes

Hello Everyone! I hope you have had a good week. I am so pleased it is Friday! I have a busy few days ahead but am looking forward to the long weekend. I have a card to share with you today which I made with some new papers from My Mind's Eye from the 'A Mother's Love' pad which I bought before I went on my holidays. I have used one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps which is called 'Fairy Cakes' and is available to buy here from Funky Kits.

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then added a little gem onto the flower on the yummy cupcake. I really love these papers as the little flowers actually remind me of the flower on the cake. I layered all my papers onto red card and stitched around the edges. The gorgeous concertina pleated ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

Here is a close up on my coloured image. Isn't she cute! I added some paper flowers to my card and a sentiment from Some Odd Girl and finished with a couple of little buttons and some gems.

Little Miss Muffet DT - Pink, Pink, Pink!!

Hello Everyone! It's Little Miss Muffet Challenge day today! We have a great theme for you this fortnight. Our theme is...

Pink, Pink, Pink!!

I missed out on making samples for the last release as I was on my holidays so I couldn't wait to colour Rosealba Faerie in lovely shades of pink to fit in with our theme. I used some lovely new Prima Romance novel papers and a clock embellishment to decorate my card and a matching sentiment.

I used a Whiff of Joy Butterfly border die to cut a border in some kraft card which I layered with more Prima paper and then used the little Butterflies to embellish my card adding little gems to the centres.
I added lots of flowers and stick on pearls to finish.

Here is a close up of my Faerie all coloured in with Promarkers and the cute little foxes. I added some glitter to the Faerie's wings and cut out all the images leaving a small border before adding them to the card with foam pads.
I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge. Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the DT! Have a lovely Thursday!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Monochrome image with unusual hair colour

Hello Everyone! It's my team's week for sharing our cards on the Passion for Promarkers blog this week and we have a great theme for you chosen by the lovely Lou. She has chosen:

'Monochrome image with unusual hair colour'

I did panic a little bit when I saw the theme as I do find it quite hard colouring in black and white but I thought my little Anya is quite funky and would look cool with pink hair. I coloured her in shades of grey and pink to match these gorgeous papers by Carta Bella. I used a sketch which I love which I think was featured in a Sugar Bowl challenge recently.

I added a sentiment from an old set I bought from Crafter's companion a few Christmases ago and some ribbon and pearls from my stash and finished with some little flowers from The Ribbon Girl.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. We have lots of fab inspiration for you from the DT and our sponsor is Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10.00 voucher for the winner.

I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!

Whiff of Joy DT for the Whiff of Joy Challenge - Brads or Eyelets

Hello Everyone! It's nearly the weekend! I am planning on doing some crafting this weekend. I have had a bit of a break over the past couple of weeks and am back and raring to go! I have a little card to share with you today which I made following the theme from the latest Whiff of Joy Challenge. The theme this fortnight is 'Brads or Eyelets'. I love using both on my projects and have tons of neglected brads all nicely stored by colour so it was great to have a root around to include one on my card.

My card is a tiny 10x10cm, the perfect size for using with Whiff of Joy mini stamps. I first cut a piece of 'October Afternoon' text paper and stitched around the edges and ten added a Whiff of Joy postcard stamped onto kraft on top. I added a sparkly heart brad to the bottom of the postcard. The bird stamp I have used is the mini 'Birdie with love letter'. I coloured him with Promarkers and coloured the heart pink and glittered it to match my brad. I finished with a couple of gems and paper flowers and a resin flower from The Ribbon Girl, I am a little bit in love with these at the moment, you may have noticed they seem to be finding their way onto a lot of my Projects :-) I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely weekend.

I used my Promarkers to colour Casper in to match the Authentique papers I used on my card. I love the bright orange and navy blue together. I stitched around the edges of all the layers and die cut my sentiment tab using a Whimsy die. The sentiment was stamped using a Hero Arts stamp. Sugar Nellie DT - A sweet Sassy girl

Good Morning Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today. I have been playing with my Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy girls recently. I love colouring them in and they look so different if you colour them in pastel colours instead of my usual brights! I have coloured the beautiful 'Fairy Tale' with my Promarkers to match these beautiful 'Dear Lizzy' Neapolitan papers and then cut her out leaving a small border. I created a simple layout layering the papers onto a polka dot design paper from the pack and stamped an old Elzybells sentiment directly onto the papers.

I added some pleated ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and a little spotty button below my image panel and some beautiful flowers I bought in Michaels in New York last year amd finished with some punched butterflies and some stick on pearls and gems. I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

My Mum's craft shop DT - Inky fun!

Good Morning Everyone! I have something a little bit different for you today for my weekly My Mum's Craft Shop blog project. I have been getting messy with my inks and have made a card using some of the gorgeous Inklicious stamps from My Mum's Craft Shop. This stamp is called 'Julianna' and is currently out of stock, she has been very popular! I made a background using alcohol inks and added the image on top of my background using Archival ink. I cut the image out and then added it to black cardstock leaving a small border.

I stamped a sentiment from the 'Journey' set onto some Kaisercraft papers which I also layered onto black card before stitiching around the edges. I covered my card with more Kaisercraft papers wrapped in ribbon and added my layers. I die cut a butterfly from the background paper I made using inks with a Cheery Lyn butterfly die and punched a couple of small ones using a Martha Stewart punch. I finished with some gems and some flowers from The Ribbon Girl.

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - A card for a special Son

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a lovely day. I have changed my posting day for My Mum's Craft shop to a Sunday from this week so I will be popping in every Sunday on the My Mum's Craft shop blog from now on to show you which My Mum's Craft Shop products I have been playing with during the week.
My Son celebrated his 13th Birthday a few days ago so I am sharing one of the cards I made him to celebrate. I didn't do any stamping or colouring on this card as the image is a precut and coloured Hobby House topper.

The papers I have used are from the Echo Park 'So Happy Together' pad. I love this pad as it has so many verstatile papers in it. I layered my papers into kraft card and then stitched around the edges. I also inked around the edge of the image panel. The sentiment was created on my laptop and the cute little banner is available here and is from Memory box. I added a couple of little black pearls and a spotty button as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Exciting Design Team News and two cards!

Good Morning Everyone! I have some exciting new for you today! I have joined the Little Miss Muffet Design Team! I am so thrilled to be joining some of my old Pollycraft teamies and the other members of the DT and am looking forward to being able to share the wonderful Little Miss Muffet images with you on my cards. There is a release of new images today so I have been having fun playing with some of the new images. My first card was made using an image designed by Paula Lee which is called 'Snuggly', she is so adorable! I coloured her with my Promarkers to match the Simple Stories papers and then layered the image onto pink card and a kraft die cut. I layered up my papers onto more kraft and pink card and added a sweet little bingo card which is on one of the papers in the pad. The gorgeous ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I topped it with a resin flower which is available here. I finished the card with some flowers and stick on pearls.

My second card is a mini card I made using another one of the new release images. This image is called 'Hola Butterfly' and there is a great story behind it. Here is what Barbara had to say about the new image and how it came about:
My daughter was reading Monarch Magic! by Lynn Rosenblatt and in the back had some fundraiser ideas.  Instead of sitting out in 109 degree weather selling cupcakes and lemonade, I suggested we draw images.  Lucky for me she thought that was a great idea!   She has drawn and colored the five stages of the Monarch Butterfly then I added a festive butterfly to join in on the fun - it all comes in a package deal!  During the month of August, for each one sold, we will donate $2.00 to the Monarch Butterfly Fund!  Will you help in her endeavors?  My daughter has even made a card to send them once the fundraiser is complete.  :D

I used Kaisercraft papers for my card and then added a Tina Wenke sentiment as this jolly butterfly makes me feel happy coloured in these bright colours! The lace and button are from The Ribbon Girl. There are 8 new images being released in total. Please check out the Little Miss Muffet blog for all the details, Barbara is also having a sale this weekend!
