Passion for Promarkers DT - Fright night

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a good start to the week. It's time for a new Challenge at Passion for Promarkers. The theme chosen by the lovely Julie is 'Fright Night' so this is the perfect opportunity to share your last minute Halloween creations. I have made a card using the fabulous 'Agent Cupcake at Halloween' from Little Miss Muffet. I coloured her in to match the very old My Mind's Eye papers I found in my stash.

Agent Cupcake was coloured with my Promarkers and then cut out leaving a small border.  I layered the papers I used onto pink paper from the pad and then added some stitching around the edges. The sentiment is by Melissa Frances and the pink bats were cut using a Memory box die.

Here is a little close up, I messed up my colouring on the mask and had to reprint it and colour it in again and cut it out and stuck it over the image. I added glitter onto the wings and finished my card off with a couple of pearls. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We are sponsored by Michele R Designs and the winner will receive 3 digi paper packs.

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. It is a new Rubber Stamp release today at Little Miss Muffet stamps and it is my first since I joined the DT so I was very excited when I received my package of gorgeous stamps and have been dying to share this card with you. I have made a card using the rubber version of Luna Bitterfrost - Birthdays rock. I love Luna! She is gorgeous and was so much fun to colour in!

I coloured her in with my Promarkers to match these My Mind's Eye papers which are from a very old pad. I have been saving the cloud paper for ages but I just had to use it with this image. I love the bright colours on these papers and I used them to create a simple layout and added a bright and zingy checked ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.

Here is a close up of my image. I cut my sentiment banner with a Dienamics die and added a sentiment from Paper Smooches. I finished with a little pearl and a little blue flower. The Ribbon Girl DT - October Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. It's time for a brand new Colour Challenge on the Ribbon Girls blog today and we have a gorgeous theme this month! We would like to see 'Autumnal Colours' on your Projects this month. I love Autumn, it is my favourite season and although I don't use them as often as I should, I love using browns and oranges when I craft. I have used some gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers on my card from the Lost and Found Two Sunshine pad. I layered the patterned papers onto a darker patterned paper from the pad and added sewing around the edges.

The gorgeous stamp I have used is 'Sweet Thinkin' Mae'. I coloured her with my Promarkers and paper pieced her dress with a paper from the pad. I couldn't resist adding some glitter glue to her shoes to make them sparkle. The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set. I have used lots of lovely Ribbon girl goodies on my card. The ribbon is available here, I added some Hessian behind my flowers which include a carnation and a small sweetheart blossom. I also added a peach cherry blossom below the image. The tiny button threaded with chocolate button twine is from the peach button mix and I finished with some stick on pearls from the peaches and cream pack.

Here is a little close up of Mae in her paper pieced dress. I wish I could have clothes made from some of my patterned papers! I love her little shrug too. Make sure you pop over to the Ribbon Girl blog, the Design team have created some beautiful projects which are sure to inspire you, here is the inspiration photo which is also on the blog.

I love these stamps as they are so quick to colour in.

My second card was made using stamps from the 'Wheel love' set and My Mind's Eye papers from the 'Gnome Sweet Gnome' pad. I coloured my image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and added a little die cut heart from the Dienamics notched tags set.

I added a bow tied from denim ribbon and some flowers and a button from my stash. Make sure you check out all the stamps from the Cat's Pajamas range, there are so many great images in the range and the sentiments which come with them are fabulous! I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Sugar Nellie DT - Pirate Monkey

Hello Everyone! It's Saturday! I have a lovely day of Crafting lined up today as my Hubby will be out at Football all day! I have some secret new stash to play with, it's always fun playing with new goodies. I also like rediscovering my old stamps and have done that this week for my Sugar Nellie DT card. I have used one of the little Cotton Rabbits images called Pirate Monkey. He is so adorable! I would love a jumper like his to wear now the weather has turned a bit colder!

I used some scraps from my scraps box for my card. I even found the card base and the pinking circle in there so I have been a good girl using up old stash. The sentiment I have used is from Lili of the Valley.

Here is a close up of my image which I coloured with Promarkers. I then cut it out leaving a small border before adding it to my card with foam pads. The gorgeous ribbon is a new denim ribbon from The Ribbon girl. I love it and will be ordering the other colours very soon! I hope you have a lovely crafty weekend!

A cute little pumpkin

Hello Everyone! It's my day for posting on the My Mum's Craft shop blog today and I am kicking off our Halloween inspiration week at My Mum's craft shop with a little shaped card which I have decorated with lots of gorgeous Halloween goodies! I cut my card with a Spellbinders die and layered a doily die cut on top I then stuck strips of Bazzill 'All Hallows Eve' papers together and die cut them into a circle which I sewed onto a black circle leaving a small border.

I wrapped the finished circle with twine and added it to my card base and then stamped and coloured the adorable Pumpkin Beatrice and cut her out leaving a small border before adding glitter to her little stalk hat and adding her to my card with foam pads. The sentiment is from the 'Halloween Sentiments' set and I added some flowers above it, and a little bat die cut and then added a little bow topped with a little wooden button. Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge and DT call

Hello Everyone! I have decided to enter the Some Odd Girl Guest DT call for November and December. To enter the call, you have to choose 3 of your favourite Some Odd Girl cards, I couldn't choose from the ones I have on my blog so here are 3 new ones! My first card was made using the sketch from the latest Challenge and the adorable little Tortoise from the 'Hey Kaylee' set.

I coloured my image with Promarkers to tone in with the Simple Stories papers I used on my card. I used a Dienamics banner die to cut the sentiment strip and kept the layout simple and uncluttered to fit in with the sketch.

I just love this little tortoise, I think he would look adorable on a new baby card. I used some of the new Promarker colours and some Flexmarkers to colour him and then cut him out leaving a small border before adding him to the card with foam pads.
My next card is a shaped one cut with my Spellbinders, I love making shaped cards and I thought 'Tiny Baker Tia' would look sweet on a mini shaped card.  I used Echo Park papers and stitched around the edges of my image panel which I stamped with the sentiment which comes with Tia.

I added a little cherry charm to match the cherry on top of Tia's cupcake and some flowers from my stash.

Here is a close up of my coloured image, she was so much fun to colour in with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I cut her out leaving a small border and then added her to my card with foam pads. I finished with a little gem next to the sentiment.
My last card was made with the very beautiful 'Thank You Mae' and more Simple Stories papers I bought a few weeks ago at Ally Pally. I love the mix of patterns in this pad and coloured Mae in lovely bright colours to match them.

I layered up different papers onto gingham and added stitching around the edges. I added a gorgeous black and cream gingham ribbon and a resin and paper flower from The Ribbon girl.

Here is a little close up of Mae. I love her cute little pumps and her little bolero and she has such gorgeous eyes. So....these are my cards and now the hardest part..Kristy and her team would like to know why I think I would be a great Guest Designer...Well... I really love colouring and the Some Odd girl stamps are so beautiful to colour and I love using my favourite bright colours on them, I absolutely adore all the stamps and digis! I really admire all the talented 'Odd Girls' and would love the chance to be a part of the team for a little while and to be able to share my cards on the Some Odd Girl blog with all the other Odd Girls and spread the Odd Girl love! Wish me luck!
Have a lovely Friday!

Sugar Nellie DT - Bunny Cuddles

Hello Everyone!  I have dug out one of my older Sugar Nellie stamps to showcase on a card this week for my post on the Sugar Nellie blog. The stamp I have used on my card is by Diane Duda and is called 'Bunny'. She is available at a Bargain price here from Funky Kits. I have coloured her in with my Promarkers in shades of pinks and browns and cut her out into a rectangle before distressing and sewing around the edges.

The papers I have used on my card are from various different My Mind's Eye pads and were in my scraps box. I added some sewing to tie all the papers together and matted them onto pink cardstock. I stamped a 'Paper Smooches' sentiment straight onto the backing papers before adding them to my card. I added a lovely bow using some pretty pink ribbon and lots of flowers from the Ribbon Girl and finished with a tiny wooden button and some stick on pearls.

Here is a close up of my image, I added a little touch of glitter to the bow in her hair and a little gem as the button on her dress. I coloured the bunny so she is wearing a matching dress. I hope you have enjoyed seeing one of the older Sugar Nellie stamps, I do love all the new releases, but it has been fun rediscovering an old favourite. Have a lovely Wednesday!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - A paper pieced Bethlehem

Hello again! I am back with my weekly DT post for My Mum's Craft shop and I have something a little bit different for you today, no Promarkers were used in the making of this card! I have used one of the gorgeous new Woodware stamps which arrived last month in the shop. This image is called Bethlehem and is currently out of stock but Kitty will be getting them back in soon.

To make the card, I stamped the image and sentiment directly onto a kraft card base. I then stamped the image onto a snowflake paper from the First Edition 'Christmas Village' pad. I stamped the image onto several patterned papers from the pad and cut out different elements and layered them up.

When the image was finished I added it to the card with foam pads and finished with glitter. I also added a little brown gem next to the sentiment. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Weekend!

Whiff of Joy New release blog hop - Penguin Brothers

Good Morning! Welcome to my blog for the Whiff of Joy new release blog hop, I am very excited to be able to share another Whiff of Joy card featuring some more adorable penguins. I think they are so sweet and I have really enjoyed making the two cards I have shown this week. If you are following the hop, you should have come here from the lovely Sonja B. If you are lost there is a full list of the blog hop on the Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog. The stamp I have used on my card is called 'Penguin Brothers building a snowman' and is available here from Whiff of Joy. The sentiment I have used is from Whiff of Joy and is from the 'Season's Greetings' set which is available here.

My image was coloured entirely with Flexmarkers, I have enough now to be able to cover most colour combinations and I really like the brush nib as it makes it so much easier to colour small areas.
