The Ribbon Girl and My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Pure Innocence in Turquoise and Aqua

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and having a good Weekend so far. Mine is busy but great fun! We went to see Paloma Faith last night, she was totally amazing! Today I am going to the Craft trade show at the NEC for a mooch about and will be taking part in a couple of workshops and meeting up with some of my lovely craft Friends. My card for today is a dual purpose one, it is my DT card for this week for My Mum's Craft shop and my DT card for this month's Colour Challenge at the Ribbon Girl. Our colour theme this month is Turquoise and Aqua. I used lots of papers from one of the  brand new My Mind's Eye pads, the one I used is called 'Remarkable' and is available here.

I coloured and paper pieced my Pure Innocence 'Read all about it' image and added her to my card with foam pads after I cut her out leaving a small border. I used lots of goodies from the Ribbon Girl to embellish my card including pleated ribbon, paper flowers, button twine tied in a heart button, satin ribbon and a spotty button.

Here is a little close up of my image. I would love a gingham chair like this one but I don't think it would last long with our dog! I hope you will be able to join in with our Colour Challenge this month. The DT have made some fabulous samples to inspire you. You can check them all out here alongside the gorgeous colour inspiration photo.

The prizes for the colour challenge are:
a £10 voucher to spend in the Lili of the Valley online store where they have fabulous new stamps for Spring

and a £10 voucher to spend in The Ribbon Girl online store which has beautiful ribbons and embellishments for every craft project

Have a great Sunday!
