Pollycraft DT for the Pollycraft Challenge - For the Kids

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Pollycraft blog and our theme this fortnight is 'For the Kids'. I absolutely love all the Pollycraft Lil' Dumplings so I just had to use one on my card.
I have used Rory on my card, he is available here from Pollycraft.

I coloured Rory in using Graph'it pens and Promarkers to match some Echo Park papers which are from an older pad. I added some buttons and a brad from my stash and a little sentiment I stamped on a tiny punched tag.

Here is a close up of the adorable Rory. I have some great news for you if you are a Lil' Dumplings fan! Look what is brand new in the Pollycraft Shop today!

Aren't they adorable! I can't wait to have a play with them! I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge this fortnight for the chance to win a £10 gift voucher to spend in the Pollycraft Store:

Make sure you check out the blog for all the details and lots of inspiration from the DT!
Have a lovely Wednesday!

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the My Mum's Craft shop blog today. Our theme this week is 'Christmas is coming', it is still a little way away but I know some of you have been making Christmas cards for a while already! If you are a last minute Christmas crafter, you will be pleased to know that My Mum's Craft shop have a fabulous range of precoloured toppers which are great for those cards that have to be made in a hurry. I have used an image from the Hobby House 'Holly time' topper sheet on my card. It is available here.

I used some old Carta Bella papers on my card and a rub on sentiment from my stash as well as some ribbon and gorgeous flowers from the Ribbon Girl. The snowflake was die cut using a Joy Crafts die.

Here is a close up of my flowers and the topper. The image is really adorable! I wish my colouring was that good! I found an extra pack of these toppers in my stash so I am offering one as candy. If you would like to be in with the chance of winning it, please leave a comment on this post and I will pick a winner on Tuesday. A few days late....My Ribbon Girl DT card for the August Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone! I can't believe it has been a week since I last updated my blog! I was on holiday last week in Dorset and have been really busy since I got back. I am a few days late sharing the card I made for the latest Colour Challenge for this month on the Ribbon Girl blog. Our colour theme this month is 'Red' so I decided to make a Christmas card using one of my lovely Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps.

The stamp I have used is called  'Snow Cute'  and is available here from Lili of the Valley. I coloured him in using Graph'it pens and Promarkers and added a touch of stickles to the snow and his beak and feet.

I added lots of lovely goodies from the Ribbon Girl, some beautiful checked ribbon, a polka dot button, some stick on pearls and lovely flowers. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge. We have a great inspiration photo for you.

We have two fabulous prizes for our lucky winner from Lili Of The Valley and Ribbon Girl

I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

Pollycraft DT for the Pollycraft Challenge - Buttons and Bows

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Pollycraft blog. Our theme this week was an easy one for me...it's Buttons and Bows! I love adding buttons to my cards and have lots of buttons in my stash which I love using or just looking at! I used 3 of them on my card and threaded them with some gorgeous hemp twine from The Ribbon Girl which I also tied in a bow on my tag which I popped between the layers on my card.
The cute little Monster I have used on my card is called 'Spike' and he is a classic from the Pollycraft cave. You can find him here. I coloured him in with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Graph'it pens and cut him out leaving a small border before adding him to my card. The papers I have used are from the Echo Park 'For the Record Documented' pad and I layered them on to kraft before adding them to my card. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge. The DT have made some fabulous cards to inspire and if you take part, you may win a  £10 shopping spree at Pollycraft!

Have a great Wednesday!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Kraft it theme on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog.

Hello Everyone! I am kicking off a new themed week on the My Mum's Craft shop blog. I have made a card using some printable topper from Pink Petticoat and some of the gorgeous new Chalk Studio paper from My Mind's Eye.

I printed the image and sentiment onto kraft and cut it out into a rectangle. I added it to a Dienamics postage edge rectangle and sewed around the edges. I layered the letters paper onto blue paper from the pad and stitched around the edges and wrapped with ribbon and twine from the Ribbon Girl before adding to the card.

I finished with some buttons, a brad and some tiny stick on pearls. Make sure you join us next week for more Krafty creations! Have a lovely Sunday!

My Mums Craft Shop DT - Coffee?

Hello Everyone! It's my day for sharing a card on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today and I am showing a little CAS card I have made using one of the Clearly Besotted stamp sets. I love these stamp sets as they are perfect for making quick and stylish cards. The stamps I have used for this card are from the Warm Wishes set which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop.

I used Kraft card to cut a square which I mounted onto a scalloped square which I cut from black card and then stamped the cup and steam onto it. I stamped the sentiment onto a tiny punched tag and added this with twine to the scalloped square. I then added this to the card base. I finished with a little wooden button and a tiny paper rose. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

MMCSDT for the MMCS Challenge - Summer Sun

Hello Everyone! It's the 1st of the month and time for a new Challenge on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today. Our theme is Summer Sun! I have made a small CAS card using the very Summery  Here and Now papers from Echo Park.

I used the gorgeous clouds paper from the pad and added a pennant to the centre which I had stamped with a sentiment from the My Favourite Things LJD Greetings set. I then die cut some Joy Crafts clouds from the patterned papers and added them overlapping the pennant and finished with a little flower.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge for the chance to win a voucher to spend at My Mum's Craft Shop. I hope you have a lovely Thursday!
