My Mum's Craft Shop DT - A Gorjuss Girl for Toppers and Pre-coloured images week

Hello Everyone!  I am kicking off another themed week on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog. Our theme is 'Toppers and pre-coloured images' and I have chosen to use a Gorjuss Girls Decoupage topper on my card.

This decoupage set is called 'We can all Shine' and is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I also used Gorjuss girl papers from the 6x6 stack. The little sentiment label which I stamped with a Penny Black sentiment and the little spotty heart are also from the decoupage pack.

I added some purple lace and pins from my stash and some lovely purple flowers. I also punched some butterflies from the waste paper with the decoupage and finished off with some stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Sugar Nellie DT - No Shell like home

Hello again! It's my day for sharing a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I am showing a card made using one of the adorable new Fairies which were released this weekend at Funky Kits. The image I have used is called 'No Shell like home' and is available here. I coloured my image in with Promarkers and Graph'it pens and die cut her into a rectangle leaving the tips of her wings 'out of the box'

I inked lightly around the edges of the image when it was still in the die and stamped a little Hero Arts sentiment in the top right hand corner. The papers I have used are from an old Bobunny pad and I found a ribbon in my stash which coordinated with them perfectly and I topped this with a matching resin heart. I added lots of flowers from my stash and a button and finished with some stick on pearls and gems.

Here is a close up of the adorable Fairy. I added tons of glitter to her wings to make them sparkle! I think she is so adorable! I haven't been able to pick a favourite so far from the new releases and I can't wait to colour them all in! I hope you enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!

A Doolally Pip for the Ali Craft Challenge

Hello Everyone! I have something a little bit different for you today....I was very lucky earlier in the year to be able to take a class taught by Lindsay Mason at the Birmingham Trade Craft Show where we made a tag using some of her Doolally Pip stamps. I fell in love with them instantly and treated myself to 'Moochin' as he reminded me of my boys. This is the first time I have inked him up and I used him to decorate a large chipboard tag I bought from Ali Craft at the Bracknell Craft Show.

I inked around the edges of the tag with black distress ink before covering the tag with Graphic 45 papers. I coloured the image with promarkers and then cut it out, adding a paper pieced crown which I had stamped on to some of the text papers. I added some jute mesh behind my sentiment and a Prima button on top.

I set eyelets in the top of the tag and threaded them with printed twill ribbon and another in the bottom from which I hung a rusty bell. I added a wooden star and cog from my stash and finished with some black stick on gems. I am entering my tag in to the Alicraft Challenge.
I hope you have a great Friday!

Love Birds

Hello Everyone! It's my day for posting on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today and I am showing   a little card I made using one of the lovely brand new mini JoFy stamps which arrived this week at My Mum's Craft Shop. I have used the Lovebirds image to make a topper for my card by stamping it onto some Gorjuss papers from the 6x6 pack and then stamping the birds again onto white card. I then coloured them in and cut out their bodies before paper piecing them on to my stamped image. I also paper pieced the little heart.

I used a Dienamics die to cut the postage stamp rectangle which I layered my birds onto. I layered up more papers to cover my card base and added some jute mesh and cotton ribbon before the layers were added to the card. I also added a gorgeous crocheted flower topped with a wooden button,

Here is a close up of my coloured image. I coloured the little birds in with Promarkers. I added a little purple paper flower to the top right of the image and finished with some stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Little Miss Muffet DT - Polka Dot Pals release day

Hello Everyone! It's release day at Little Miss Muffet today and there are some lovely new goodies for you to play with this week. We have a brand new range of images called the Polka Dot Pals which the Design team fell in love with at first sight! I have used the adorable Lydie on my card. You can find her and all the new images in the 'What's New' section of the Little Miss Muffet website.

I used My Mind's Eye papers and coloured Lydie in using Graph'it Markers (still practising my blending with those) and my Promarkers. I added lots of stitching to the papers and kept the layout quite simple. I love the beautiful rose and polka dots paper and was very lucky to find a wooden button in my stash to match them. The sentiment I used is from a Kirsty Wiseman set I bought at the weekend.

Here is a close up of my coloured in image. I am not too happy with the blending on the hair but I have limited colours to play with until I build up my collection. I used very few embellishments on this card as I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous papers so simply added a paper flower and a resin flower next to the wooden heart and a couple of little stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Thursday and make sure you visit the Little Miss Muffet blog for lots of inspiration from the DT using the new releases.

I coloured Albie in using my new Graph'it pens for his jumper and Promarkers for the rest and cut him out leaving a small border. I used Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy papers on my card and the stamped sentiment is from Paper Smooches. The gingham ribbon is from my stash and the blue twill ribbon was bought at the Bracknell craft show. I added a gorgeous wooden button from Prima on top of the ribbon sentiment.

Here is a close up of my coloured in image. I am really happy with my new Graph'it pens! The colours are so intense and the blending is really easy. I need to collect a few more to get a good range of colours. I hope you have a lovely sunny Wednesday where you are .
