Ali Craft DT card for the Ali-Craft Challenge - Butterflies

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Ali-Craft blog today and we have a lovely theme for you this time. The theme this month is 'Butterflies' and I used some gorgeous Artistic Outpost stamps from the Happiness set on my card which is available here from Ali-Craft.

I used Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress inks to create my backing paper. I first inked all over wth the lighter ink and stamped some of the stamps from the set in the same ink. I added more detail with the Victorian Velvet and also inked around the edges with this colour. I then sewed this panel on to a square of black card.

I stamped hte butterfly image onto kraft and cut it out before adding it to my card with foam pads. I then stamped the butterfly image onto white card and coloured it with alcohol markers before cutting it out and attaching it to the panel by it's body so the wings could be lifted.
