New Jane's Doodles image on Squigglefly - Noah's Ark

While I was having a break from crafting over Christmas Jane has been working her socks off creating more of her adorable images. Her latest release is available to buy now on Squigglefly and is this gorgeous Noah's Ark image. I loved it so much when I downloaded it I couldn't resist colouring it in lots of times so I made 2 cards straightaway. I have one more image coloured and ready to make into a card so I may put it together tonight :-)
For the first card, I took inspiration from the colours in this gorgeous DCWV paper from the Citrus stack and coordinated it with Making memories ribbon and felt star. The button is from John Lewis and the rub-ons are Doodlebug. I decoupaged some of the animal's heads and the seagull and added glossy accents to some of their 'noses' as a final detail.

For the second card, I decided to go a bit more girly. I used cardstock from the DCWV Nana's Nursery stack and took my lead from these for the colouring. The sentiment is from Elzybells and the flower is K+Co with an extra layer of pale green added to tie the scheme together.

I wasn't too sure about this card when I first made it as I preferred the first one, but I think it is growing on me :-)
Make sure you go and see what my fellow DT member Alice made with the new image, her card is so clever and I know you are going to love it and be massively inspired. There will be more inspiration from Sanne, Lysa and Kelly in the next few days so make sure you also check out their blogs!
I hope you are having a good Sunday. My hubby and I took a walk with the dog this morning through 3 miles of freezing but beautiful countryside and ended up climbing over lots of fallen trees from the recent snow.
A few people have asked for one so.... here is a recent photo of Charlie in his 'bedroom'.

He is sitting on his favourite toy, his 'Fat Ted'. I am off to do a bit of tidying up now, my dining table AND craft desk are a complete mess at the moment and I need to clear some space to do some more crafting!
