Little Miss Muffet DT for the LMMS Challenge - Gifts of Tags

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good week so far, it's been a busy one for me and I have a busy weekend ahead too. I am hoping to get some more Christmas shopping done and to get ahead with some Commissions and DT duties. It's time for a brand new Challenge today on the Little Miss Muffet blog and our theme this fortnight is 'Gifts or Tags'. I have used the lovely Sonny Honeycloud Mistletoe on my card and coloured her in with my Promarkers to match the gorgeous Echo Park 'Winter Wishes' papers.

I layered some more papers onto a Paperchase luggage tag and added lots of stitching around the edges. I tied a bow and added it to the top of the tag and topped it with a button. The sentiment I used is from Lili of the Valley and I dotted some die cut snowflakes around the card and topped them with stick on gems.

Here is a close up of the lovely Sonny. I coloured her in with my Promarkers and then cut her out leaving a small border before adding her to the card with foam pads. I hope you will be able to join us for this fortnight's Challenge, there is lots of inspiration from the DT on the Challenge blog and you may win some Little Miss Muffet digi images! Have a lovely Thursday!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Distressing

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers blog and this week our theme is...Distressing! I love using my Distressing tool so had lots of fun with this theme roughing up the edges of my Basic Grey papers and my image panel. The papers were left over from a Magazine commission and I love them! As well as distressing the edges with the tool, I also added some old paper distress ink.

The gorgeous image I have used is from Pink Gem who are sponsoring us this week. This little cutie is 'Angel Jodie'. I love her little wings and halo and couldn't resist blinging them up with some glitter. The image was coloured in with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I added lots of pretty flowers from my stash and a gorgeous ribbon from The Ribbon Girl which I topped with a Lili of the Valley sentiment tag and a Hobby House button. The die cut holly leaves are cut with a Cheery Lyn die.

Here is a close up of my image. I added a little gem to Jodie's halo for another little touch of sparkle! I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. As I mentioned, we are sponsored by Pink Gem Designs and the prize is 4 digi images of winners choice!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Themed week 'Tags'

Hello Everyone! It's my day for posting on the My Mum's Craft shop blog todya  and I am kicking off another themed week.. Our theme this week is 'Tags' so I have a selection of tags to show you which I have embellished with Little Claire Peel Offs.

I used the shed from the Lazy Days sheet on my first tag which I had cut out using a Dienamics tag die. The papers I used are from the Gnome Sweet Gnome My Mind's Eye pad. I stuck the peel off onto white card and then coloured it in with Promarkers. I added some ribbon and a charm and finished with some flowers and gems.

I used some left over scraps of papers to decorate some luggage tags and added some peel off images from the 'Oh Man' sheet. These were all coloured with Promarkers and die cut into circles before I added the to the tags. The sentiments are also all on the sheets. Make sure you pop back tomorrow for another Tag themed project! Have a lovely Sunday!

Little Miss Muffet release day and some candy!

Hello Everyone! It is release day at Little Miss Muffet today and we have lots of new goodies to tempt you with today. There is a rubber release of five Rubber Stamps from Pollycraft Paula, and six cute Digis from Barbara! It's Christmas come early! I have been in love with Chester the cheeky monkey since my Pollycraft days so I was very excited to see him included in the rubber release. I treated myself to one and have bought an extra one to give away as Candy. So please leave a comment on this post if you would like to win him! Now, onto my card. I have used some gorgeous Christmassy Echo Park papers which I think are from the This and That Christmas pad.

I kept my layout simple and coloured Chester with my Promarkers before cutting him out leaving a small border and then added him to the card with foam pads. I added a little wooden snowflake topped with a gem and a little scrap of denim ribbon I found on my desk topped with a Spotty button. I cannot remember where the sentiment I stamped onto the letter came from.

Here is the little Chester stamp you win by leaving a comment on this post. I will pick a winner on the 28th using Random.org. Make sure you check out the blog for lots of beautiful projects made using the new releases and you can see all the new goodies on offer at Little Miss Muffet here. I realised today I forgot to pick a winner of my Magazine giveaway so I will be back later with the winner. Have a lovely Thursday!

Sugar Nellie DT - Wish Upon a Star

Good Morning Everyone! It's my day for posting on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I am sharing a little card I made following the gorgeous sketch from the latest Sugar Bowl Challenge. I have used the adorable 'Wish Upon a Star' stamp which is available here from Funky Kits. I coloured her in with my Promarkers and added lots of glitter to her wings as the optional Challenge theme is to add sparkle.

I used Bazzil Basics papers from the beautiful Believe stack and layered them onto kraft before sewing around the edges. The ribbon I used to tie my bow is from the Ribbon girl and matches the vintage feel of the papers really well.

Here is a close up of my coloured image, she has such s sweet little face. I love her little box of stars, she looks like she is ready to decorate the Christmas Tree! I added a couple of little sentiment tags and some paper flowers and then finished with some pearls and little gems for extra sparkle!
I hope you have a lovely Wednesday.

The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge - Lavender Shades

Hello again! As promised I am back with my card for this month's Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge. We have a great set of colours for you to work with this month and they inspired me to make something other than a card for a change. I recently bought some 'distressed' curtain finials in a Charity sale and I thought they would be perfect to use as a base for a mannequin. To make the mannequin, I started by glueing some kebab sticks into the curtain finial and packed them in tight with some crumpled newspaper and glue. I cut the sticks to size and then wrapped them with button twine. I used a Tim Holtz die to cut some felt for the body of the mannequin and sewed around the edges leaving the bottom open, I stuffed the felt shape then stuck it on top of the covered sticks and sewed up the bottom edge.

I then set about decorating with lots of lovely goodies from the Ribbon Girl. I used lilac velvet ribbon lace at the bottom of the body and some velvet ribbon around the waist and I hid the join with a resin flower.

I decorated the base with lots of gorgeous flowers including the Kordt and Godt Beaded Ivory Roses which are just stunning and I added lots of lilac paper flowers after I had wrapped the base with lilac lace . You can just about see that I used a Kordt and Godt beaded white swirl branch to fill the gap between the base and the covered kebab sticks.

As a finishing touch I added a purple hat pin to the top of the mannequin. I am so pleased with the way this turned out, it took me a while to make but was really worth it and the finished piece now has pride of place on my windowsill above my craft desk. I hope you will be able to join us for this month's Challenge. We have a fabulous inspirational photo for you and my teamies have made some wonderful creations as usual.

We also have some fabulous prizes! A Lilac Mini Makes Kit from The Ribbon Girl

and a £10 voucher from Lili of the Valley

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! I am off to London very soon to the Apollo to see Twelfth NIght! I can't wait!

My Mum's Craft Shop DT - Playing with Peel Offs

Good Morning Everyone! I have something a little bit different for you today for my weekly post on the My Mum's Craft shop blog. I have 2 cards which I have made without any stamps at all! I have been playing with some of the lovely Little Claire's Peel Offs which have just arrived at My Mum' Craft Shop.

I used some of the garden tools images from the Lazy Days peel off sheet for my first card. The spotty paper is by Echo Park and I layered the peel off onto white card before colouring it in with my Promarkers. The sentiment is also from the peel off sheet and I added a little bow tied from gingham ribbon.

I used peel offs from the 'Oh Man' sheet for my second card. The paper I used are from the My Mind's Eye 'Gnome Sweet Gnome' pad and I added my sentiment onto a tag cut with the die from the 'Notched die and tag set'. I really enjoyed playing with the peel offs and they were great for making quick cards and so easy to colour in as it was very easy to keep within the lines! I will be back with my Ribbon Girl DT post a bit later on this morning.

Sugar Nellie DT - Annie with Present

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a good week. I am going to be crafting for the rest of the day in the warm. The perfect day! I have a Clean and Simple Sugar Nellie card to share with you today. I recently picked up these pre-embossed Papermania cards and thought that they would be lovely for CAS Christmas cards and a great way to use up my scraps.

I used some scraps of Echo Park 'This and that Christmas' papers which I cut with a Dienamics Fishtails die and layered them up at the bottom of the card. I coloured the Leanne Ellis 'Annie with Present' image with my Promarkers and then cut her out before adding her to the card with foam pads. I added some glitter to her hat as a finishing touch. I added a little wooden snowflake to the top right of the card to fill a bit of the white space and finished with a little gem. Have a lovely Saturday!
