Petra very kindly gave it to me and I was itching to get home to make something with it!
While the snow fell outside and still keeps falling, I started work. It took me a long time to get a card I was happy with. About 3 hours altogether! I started by surrounding the button with a rosette made from ribbons from Crafty ribbons. I matted and layered Making memories and a Nesties label shape cut from Papercellar paper and sewed around the edges. I added a strip of vintage lace from my stash and then stuck on my button embellishment.
I added some Cuttlebug swirly rose vines, some letter stickers from Making memories and some tiny gold gems which I bought in Claire's.
Here is a close up of the button. Isn't it just amazing! I hope you like my attempt at 'vintage'. I am not quite hooked yet but I may give it another try one day when I have a spare 3 hours!I hope you are staying safe in all this snow and ice.
