What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday???

Here is my desk today. It's tidy. I tidied it Monday night when I had some quiet time as my Hubby and the boys were at Wembley. No crafting yesterday, not much at all since last week really as I have been suffering with my eyes. I managed to catch Ryan's eye infection and had been treating it since last week with eyedrops I bought over the counter. It wasn't really getting any better and I tried to book an appointment Monday at the doctor's, no luck there unfortunately. Yesterday, I woke up and my left eye was all swollen and very sore and I couldn't really see properly! I didn't want to risk driving to work and managed to get in to the doctor's and now have some stronger eyedrops with antibiotics and steroids which seem to be slowly working.

I seem to be catching everything that is going around this year, I think I need to shut myself away in my room away from all the germs! There is not much to talk about on the desk this week. I did find my glue pot lid when I was tidying. It was under the desk so there was no way any of you WOYWWers would have been able to see it but thanks to all of you who looked for it.
My box of Nesties is on my desk, it is struggling to hold my growing collection now, I will have to look for an alternative storage solution. I have been looking into different ways of storing my 12x12 papers but have not found an appropriate solution yet due to my lack of space.
There is a magazine on the desk, a letter a sent in is printed in there with a photo of a watering can I made, it is the Star letter so I am looking forward to receiving a bumper pack of goodies!
Anyway, I have rambled on far too long! I hope you enjoy looking around my desk and if you want to see more, please pop over to Julia's, you may even feel like sharing a piccie of your workspace.
Hope to see you there!

  7. Hope the eye clears up soon. If you're catching lots of stuff, perhaps your immune system needs a boost; Echinacea's supposed to be good for that but take it along with vitamin C :)

  13. Gah, poor you, hope it all disappears as quickly as it came. Your desk looks amazing! Well done on the magazine thingy - you are prolific at putting yourself out there, am very admiring. And Nesties are a prob for me too- am thinking of the old magnetic noticeboard solution at the mo.

  20. Hope you feel better soon, I like your spice racks with different 'flavours' of buttons. Have you thought about using RUB boxes for your paper?

  21. Sorry to hear you have an eye infection. I hope you get well soon. Wouldn't want you missing next week's big anniversary party. I really like those little hanging storage baskets. They look handy.

I have very limited 12 X 12 paper, so storage, isn't much of a problem. I bought one of those expanding file folders that holds that size paper. Then I labeled everything like "vellum," white, green, etc. My categories are quite limited, though. Hope this helps. It fits under my table and has a handle, so I can pick it up easily.
