Pretty in Pink!

Hello Everyone! Apologies for my long absence again, life is still very busy and I am struggling to find time to craft and blog. I am here today with some girly inspiration using a gorgeous Pollycraft stamp which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop. I coloured the cute little Pixie in with my Promarkers and added her to some circles cut from pink cardstock and papers from the Authentique 'Pretty' pad.

I kept the layout simple, adding some ribbon from my stash and a sentiment from an old My Favourite Things stamp set which is unfortunately no longer in stock.

Here is a close up of my finished image. I added some glitter glue to the Pixie's wings and finished my card with lots of pretty flowers and some stick on pearls. I hope you have a lovely Friday!

Friday, 1 May 2015

Hello Everyone! It's my day for positing some inspiration using some fabulous products from My Mum's Craft shop. I have made a card using some gorgeous papers from the Authentique 'Crush' paper pad which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop.

I created a simple layout layering up different paper from the pad sticking to a black, white, red and pink colour scheme. I used a doily die to create a topper and added a die cut which I cut from red card using an Avery Elle 'Love' die,

I added some ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and a paper flower and some stick on gems as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely Bank Holiday Monday,

Little Miss Muffet DT - Casper Silvermist Crush

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good week so far. I have a card to share with you today which I made using one of the new digi images that were released a couple of weeks ago at Little Miss Muffet. This image featuring Casper Silvermist is called 'Crush' and is available to buy here. I think I may just have little crush on Casper myself as it is the second time he has appeared on my blog this month!

I used my Promarkers to colour Casper in to match the Authentique papers I used on my card. I love the bright orange and navy blue together. I stitched around the edges of all the layers and die cut my sentiment tab using a Whimsy die. The sentiment was stamped using a Hero Arts stamp. I added some twill tape from The Ribbon Girl and an assortment of buttons tied with twine to finish my card. Make sure you check out the Little Miss Muffet blog today for lots of inspiration from the DT and some ne releases! Have a great Thursday!

I layered the papers onto Bobunny double dot papers and stitched through all the layers. The image was coloured with Promarkers and then I cut it out before adding to a scalloped circle. I added a Whimsy stamps sentiment and a gorgeous bow tied from cotton tape and finished with some flowers from my stash.

CES Challenge - mix and match

Hi Everyone, I am so late with my card for this week's CES challenge! I suppose it is better late than never! This week's Challenge theme has been chosen by the lovely Julie and the theme this week is Mix and Match. We want to see your creations using papers from at least two different manufacturers. I have chosen 2 of my new paper pads to use which arrived while I was away on my holidays and a new stamp I ordered before I went.

The yellow spotty paper I used is from the My Mind's Eye Rosy pad which is available here from Crafty Emma's store, the grey and yellow papers are from the Authentique Blissful pad which is available here.

I layered the paper up onto a scalloped edge card blank and added stitching and then stamped one of the new Simply Sassy images called Team Spirit and coloured her in in shades to match the papers. I made some pom poms from Baker's twine and stuck them on the image with my glue gun. I cut the image out with some of the new Xcut dies. I love them as the ovals and rectangles are a great size for stamped images, I find my nesties are sometimes a bit small. I added a die cut label stamped with a mini sentiment and 2 crochet flowers I bought on holiday.
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge for the chance to win a voucher for Crafty Emma's store.

Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the DT. Have a fab weekend!
