Passion for Promarkers DT - Mega Christmas Challenge

Hello Everyone! I apologise for the lack of posts on my blog lately. I have been so busy in the run up to Christmas, there are not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything. We launched our Mega Christmas Challenge on the Passion for Promarkers blog a couple of weeks ago and we are giving you another burst of inspiration today. Our Mega Christmas challenge runs for a whole month and ends on January 1st 2013.
Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is a nice easy one “include the word HAPPY in your sentiment”, so basically we want to see your creations for any type of occasion that include the word “happy”, i.e. happy Christmas, happy birthday, happy anniversary etc.
I have used the lovely Little Miss Muffet digi called 'Snowballs' on my card and coloured him in with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

I used Echo Park papers layered onto kraft card and added stitching around the edges. The sentiment is a rub on and I used a little wooden snowflake and some ribbon finishing with a button and some little gems.

Here is a close up of my image. I added some glitter glue to the snow for a bit of sparkle! I hope you will be able to join us for our Mega Christmas Challenge. We have some fabulous prizes for you!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Fright night

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a good start to the week. It's time for a new Challenge at Passion for Promarkers. The theme chosen by the lovely Julie is 'Fright Night' so this is the perfect opportunity to share your last minute Halloween creations. I have made a card using the fabulous 'Agent Cupcake at Halloween' from Little Miss Muffet. I coloured her in to match the very old My Mind's Eye papers I found in my stash.

Agent Cupcake was coloured with my Promarkers and then cut out leaving a small border.  I layered the papers I used onto pink paper from the pad and then added some stitching around the edges. The sentiment is by Melissa Frances and the pink bats were cut using a Memory box die.

Here is a little close up, I messed up my colouring on the mask and had to reprint it and colour it in again and cut it out and stuck it over the image. I added glitter onto the wings and finished my card off with a couple of pearls. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We are sponsored by Michele R Designs and the winner will receive 3 digi paper packs.

Passion for Promarkers DT - Bee Happy!

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a good weekend and a good start to the week. It is my week to choose the Challenge theme on the Passion for Promarkers blog and I have chosen...Bee Happy, I would like to see Yellow and Black cards or Projects this week. I have made a card using another little CC designs cutie. This stamp is called 'Honey Bee-trice', she is so adorable, she remind me of my beautiful little Goddaughter!
I coloured her in with my Promarkers to match these fabulous papers from the Glitz Design 'Cashmere Dame' pad.

I added lots of goodies from the Ribbon Girl, some flowers, some Jute mesh ribbon, gingham bias binding and Baker's twine. The sentiment is an old favourite from my stash from Elzybells. I added some little gems and some glitter to her cute little wings. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge, the Design Team have created some fabulous cards to inspire you and we have a great sponsor as usual!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Clean and Simple.

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good week so far. Sorry I am a little bit late with my Passion for Promarkers DT post today. I thought I had scheduled it but it was not even written up yet. We have a great theme for you this week. Our theme this week is 'Clean and Simple' and the DT have some great cards to share with you.

I have kept my card very simple using no backing papers and just sewing my image panel onto a rectangle of red card. The very cute reindeers are from Stamposaurus and were so much fun to colour in with my Promarkers. I am thinking of having this design for my Christmas cards this year. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We have a fab sponsor as usual.
Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 to spend in her online store. Don’t forget there is free p&p when you spend over £9.00 and super fast delivery as standard!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Lace and Swirls

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a good start to the week. I promised you some more Halloween inspiration on Sunday and here it is! Our theme this week at Passion for Promarkers is 'Lace and Swirls' and I initially thought I would make a wedding card but couldn't resist colouring in another Halloween image which is a perfect match to the fabulous Bazzill Basics All Hallows Eve papers which are available here at My Mum's Craft Shop.

I used a Marianne Designs die for the swirl which I cut from black card and tucked behind the sentiment from the  Halloween sentiments set. The lace I have used is available here from The Ribbon Girl and I layered onto some jute mesh ribbon.

I coloured my image with Promarkers and then cut it out leaving a small border and added it to my card with foam pads. I finished with a some little green gems. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We have some great inspiration from the DT on the Challenge blog and our sponsor this week is Letraset who are offering a New Promarker collector set to our winner.

I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!

Passion for Promarkers DT - Monochrome image with unusual hair colour

Hello Everyone! It's my team's week for sharing our cards on the Passion for Promarkers blog this week and we have a great theme for you chosen by the lovely Lou. She has chosen:

'Monochrome image with unusual hair colour'

I did panic a little bit when I saw the theme as I do find it quite hard colouring in black and white but I thought my little Anya is quite funky and would look cool with pink hair. I coloured her in shades of grey and pink to match these gorgeous papers by Carta Bella. I used a sketch which I love which I think was featured in a Sugar Bowl challenge recently.

I added a sentiment from an old set I bought from Crafter's companion a few Christmases ago and some ribbon and pearls from my stash and finished with some little flowers from The Ribbon Girl.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. We have lots of fab inspiration for you from the DT and our sponsor is Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10.00 voucher for the winner.

Passion for Promarkers DT - At the beach

Good Morning Everyone! We have a brand new Challenge for you this week at Passion for Promarkers. Our theme this week has been chosen by the lovely Lisa is

'At the beach'

I have used an image from the now closed Pollycraft on my card. The card was made for my eldest Son to give to his little brother on his Birthday a few days ago. I printed my image and coloured it in with my Promarkers to match these fabulous 'Boys Life' Echo Park papers.

I cut out my image leaving a small border and added it to a stiched paper panel with foam pads. The sentiment is by Some Odd Girl and was added to a tag die cut with a MFT die to which I stapled a small piece of ribbon. The number stickers are from Prima and I bought the wooden star at the NEC.
I hope you will be able to join us for this weeks Challenge. We are sponsored this week by Letraset and they are offering our winner one of the new Promarker Collector's sets.

Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the DT!

Passion for Promarkers and Sugar Nellie DT - Faye Feeling Fruity!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a good Monday. I collapsed in a snoring heap on the sofa early yesterday, I had planned to do some crafting but my sleepy eyes had other ideas! I think all the excitement of the weekend caught up with me! It is my team's week to show cards on the latest Passion for Promarkers Challenge blog and the theme this week is: Feeling Fruity
I have used the adorable Sugar Nellie 'Faye and Freddie' who is available to buy here from Funky Kits. I have coloured her in fruity colours to match the papers I found in my scraps basket.

I wrapped everything in some gorgeous ribbon from The Ribbon Girl topped with a lovely bow and spotty button and added a Pink Petticoat sentiment before finishing with pearls and some pretty flowers from my stash. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We are sponsored by Bugaboo

Passion for Promarkers DT - Gingham or Checks

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a good Monday. I am still feeling quite tired after my busy weekend and my mojo seems to have taken flight. Hopefully I will feel like doing a bit of crafting in the next few days! This week it is my turn to pick the theme on the Passion for Promarkers Challenge Blog and I have chosen my favourite...

'Gingham or Checks'

I have used a La-la Land Crafts image 'Sweetheart Marci' who is available in digi format here. She was so lovely to colour in. I chose colours to match these gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers which I layered onto kraft and sewed around the edges.

I stamped a sentiment from a 'Some Odd Girl' set straight onto the gingham paper and then added a gorgeous gingham ribbon from The Ribbon Girl which I tied in a lovely big bow. I added a spotty button also from The Ribbon Girl on top of the bow and finished with some stick on pearls and a little flower. I hope you will be able to join us for this month's Challenge. We have some fabulous inspiration  from the DT and a great sponsor.

The Digistamp boutique are sponsoring us and the winner will receive a lovely prize. Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for all the details and some fab inspiration from the DT.

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a good Monday. We have a great new Challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers chosen by the lovely Denise. The theme is 'Lots of Layers' so we would like to see at least 3 layers on your cards this week. I have made a card using a Pollycraft image and a sentiment from an old Elzybells set. The papers I have used are by My Mind's Eye from the 'On the Sunny Side' pad. I layered them onto red cardstock and sewed around the edges.

The image was coloured with Promarkers (of course!) and I cut it out leaving a small border. I added a small bow from yellow ribbon from my stash and some paper flowers which I have in my tin on my craft desk. I finished with a small spotty button and some red gems.

Passion for Promarkers DT - Olympics

Good Morning Everyone! I apologise for my absence over the past few days, I had a busy weekend and didn't have much time for crafting! However, I am back today with a card I did squeeze in on Saturday. Thank you so much to all of you who took part in last week's Passion for Promarkers Anniversary celebration. It was lovely seeing all your wonderful Birthday cards. We have a great theme this week which is......

Olympics!!

We would like to see cards featuring sports, rings or even inspired by the Olympics colours in the rings on the photo on the blog. I have made a card using traditional red white and blue and the Olympics Saturated Canary image 'Olympics' as she was just perfect for the theme.

I used PB and J Basic Grey papers to cover my card base and to paper piece a Union Jack which was layered onto kraft before I added a stitched border. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and cut it out leaving a small border before adding it to the card with foam pads. The stamp image and sentiment are from a Portobello road collection as is the button and I added a little gingham bow from my stash. I finished with a cluster of flowers and some little gems. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. We have
a great prize for you as we are sponsored by the fabulous Joanna Sheen and she is generously offering a £10.00 voucher to our winner.

A Simply Sassy Christmas card

Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. Thank you for all the lovely comments you have been leaving me recently. I have been really busy this week but finally had some time to do some crafting last night. I ordered this Secret Santa Simply Sassy stamp a few weeks ago and was itching to get her inked up and made into a card and I thought she would be perfect to use for the sketch which is this week's theme on the Passion for Promarkers Challenge blog.

I used Basic Grey papers from last year and a scrap of digi paper leftover from another Project. I used a Chipboard sticker which I bought in a sale in Hobbycraft and some label font letter stickers for my sentiment and some adorable pom pom trim and a Jillibean soup die cut to which I added some stick on gems.

PFP challenge 109 sketch

I loved using the fab sketch by Michele, it was so easy to follow and I will be digging this one out again soon for more cards. I am hoping to have some more crafting time tonight, I really miss it if I don't do anything for a few days! Have a great Thursday!

Tie a yellow ribbon for Passion for Promarkers

Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a good weekend. I had a very productive day yesterday finishing off 5 DT cards which I had been putting together in stages over the past few days. I went to babysit my friend's gorgeous little Son and he obviously wore me out as I fell asleep at my In-laws in the afternoon!

I have a card to share with you today which I made using one of the lovely recently released Little Stars images from Pollycraft. I love these little cuties and they are so much fun to colour in. I used some of my favourite ginghams in a lovely powder blue and teamed it with yellow ribbon, twine and kraft. The sentiment is by SRM stickerss and the little charm is from The Ribbon girl. I am entering this card into this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge, the theme is 'Tie a Yellow Ribbon'.
Have a great Sunday!

Here comes the Bride

Morning everyone! I hope you are having a good week. I am still trying hard to take part in as many of my favourite Challenges as possible so I have made a special effort to take part in this week's Passion for Promarkers Challenge. The theme this week is 'Here comes the bride' and I have used one of my favourite Wedding images from By Lori Designs on my card.

The papers I have used are from Bobunny and the gorgeous pink ribbon is from The Ribbon girl and the little sentiment is from Pink Petticoat. I kept the layout simple and coloured my image with Promarkers adding some pink highlights to the wedding dress and some glitter glue to make it sparkle.
Have a fabulous Thursday!

A Magnolia card for a couple of Challenges

I don't enter Blog Challenges very often as I never seem to have enough time. I am always in awe of Bloggers who manage to enter several Challenges with one card! I never seem to achieve it but by chance, this card (which I made this weekend) fits a couple!
I stamped up a new Magnolia stamp I bought for myself before Christmas to make a card to enter the Just Magnolia 'Going Dotty' Challenge and the Passion for Promarkers Challenge. The Making Memories papers were a bargain from TKMaxx. I couldn't resist buying them when I saw the gorgeous glittery clouds and they are perfect for the photo inspiration theme at Passion for Promarkers.

I layered up different dotty papers to make a little scene for Tilda to stand in and added some stitching and a Hero Arts sentiment. The ribbon is Bobunny double dot in a gorgeous duck egg blue.

I dotted around a few little butterflies, one has settled on Tilda's hand...The finishing touch was some little flowers and sticky back pearls and gems.
I really enjoyed making this card, the colours are so cheery, just what we need this time of year!

I am entering this card into this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge as the theme is Thank You cards.

A Birthday card for my lovely Hubby

It's my lovely Hubby's birthday tomorrow and I left it a bit late to make him a card and was stuck for inspiration so I decided to follow the Wild Rose Studio sketch and then part in their blog hop. I've never taken part in a blog hop before and it was lovely seeing all the new stamps in the fabulous samples made by the DT.

I used a Wild Rose studio stamp I bought at a show but have never used for my card and some of my lovely new My Mind's Eye papers.
I followed this lovely sketch by Dawny P which was used by all the members of the DT.

I really enjoyed using the bright summery colours after all the Christmassy colours I have been using on my cards. The spotty ribbon and epoxy star were from my stash and I have had them a long time.
I am also entering this card in to this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge.
The theme is old/new and the papers and stamps I have used are my brand new items, the epoxy button and ribbon are my old items.
I am slowly getting back to some sense of normality now after being out of action due to my back, I don't normally have time to take part in many Challenges so this has been a nice change for me! I am now off to link up my card
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
