Lili of the Valley Christmas ted card and a DT call.

I received 2 new Lili of the Valley stamps last week. I was so impressed by the quality of the little girl in the swing stamp I bought at Ally Pally I just had to buy more! I used some lovely K+Co papers I received as a Birthday present and got my sewing machine out. I am entering this card in Sassy Susie's Design Team call as she is looking for another member for her DT as she is starting a new Blog Challenge.

I used DCWV textured card for my matting and layering and a Stampendous sentiment stamp that I cut with Nestabilities. The flowers are Prima and I added some Flower soft to the white one to look like snow.
Here is a close up of the coloured in image. I used Promarkers to colour the cute little bear in and paperpieced the present with some of the backing papers. I used Flower soft on the hat and a little bit of glaze on the nose to make it nice and shiny. I am quite pleased with the colouring of this image and used 3 shades of brown on the bear. I am still a novice when it comes to the colouring so am still having to put in a lot of practise.
I got a new daylight lamp yesterday and it's really powerful, I am so pleased with it! The dark winter nights cannot stop me from Crafting now!
It's raining here but I am going to meet my friend Lizzy for a coffee this morning so we should keep nice and dry while we catch up with each other's news!
