Whiff of Joy DT - A concertina envelope album tutorial

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was busy! I managed to get lots of crafting done and have had lots of fun playing with some of my new stash in my Craft Room! I have a tutorial to share with you today on the Whiff of Joy Blog. I am showing you how to make this little album which has been put together using envelopes as pages.

I use the adorable Henry on Rocking Horse to decorate my book and Simple Stories 'Baby Steps' papers. The wooden tag and button are from Prima and lots of the flowers including the little resin one are from The Ribbon girl, as is the jute net behing my flower cluster.

Here is a close up of the adorable 'Henry'. I have added a little pink bow to his hair as my album, when finished, will be for my little Goddaughter. I hope you have a lovely Monday, make sure you pop back later to take part in the Sugar Nellie new release blog hop!

Whiff of Joy DT for the Whiff of Joy Challenge - Stars and Stripes

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and had a good week. I am so glad it is nearly the Weekend! I have had a busy week and am looking forward to a day of Crafting and relaxing on Saturday. I have a card to share with you today, which I made following the theme for this fortnight's Whiff of Joy Challenge, which is 'Stars and Stripes'. I have used the poor 'Henry with broken leg' which comes with a matching sentiment and is available here from Whiff of Joy.

I used papers that have been in my stash for a while and stamped on the bottom layer before sewing around the edges and wrapping with pom pom trim from the Ribbon Girl. I added the stitched star panel on top before adding the little poorly Henry. I finished with a lovely button tied with twine and a little wooden star and some little stick on pearls. Now all the important information is out of the way...here is my card made with the adorable Baby Henry stamp from the 'We are Family' release which is available here from Whiff of Joy. I love this stamp so much :-) I have already made a Baby boy card with it so I thought I would share a Baby Girl one for the hop.

The card was made using a scalloped base onto which I layered up Basic Grey papers and plain cardstock and kraft from my stash. I added my usual stitching and some Butterflies cut with this gorgeous die from Whiff of Joy which is available here. The sentiment was stamped onto the smaller die from the tag die set which you can find here at Whiff of Joy. I added some gems from my stash and a little wooden button as a finishing touch. Whiff of Joy new release preview - Baby Henry!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are ready to say 'aaaaahhhhh' as I have a realy cutie to share with you today! Whiff of Joy is releasing some new stamps next Thursday and they all feature some adorable Baby and Toddler Henrys. My favourite is the Baby Henry stamp so I have chosen to use him for my first preview card.

 I had to make a New Baby card for a work colleague this week so it was perfect timing for me to play with my new stamps. I created a simple layout layering gingham paper onto kraft and then onto aqua card and sewing around the edges. I used an SRM sticker for the sentiment and some tiny alphas for the name.

The gorgeous Ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the twine is from Whiff of Joy. To make the date of birth tag, I printed first onto copy paper, die cut a tag then stuck this to the paper with removable tape and run through the printer again. The little heart charm has been in my stash for ages!

Whiff of Joy DT - Looking for Adventures

Morning Everyone!I hope you are all well. I apologise for the absence of posts this week, I have been struggling to find time to craft this since we came back from our holiday and my Mojo seems to have taken a bit of a battering so I am slowly getting back into things. There was a fabulous release from Whiff of Joy when I was away and I last night I had a play with some of the stamps and dies.

I have made a card using Henry Looking for Adventures which is available here from Whiff of Joy. I had lots of fun colouring the image in bright colours to match the gorgeous Country Drive Echo Park papers which you can buy here from Crafty Emma's Store. I thought the green paper looked a little bit like tyre tracks, I have used a sentiment from the new set pictured below on the green panel which is available to buy here.

I have used the brand new picket fence die which I adore to cut a fence from Kraft which I added over the join in the two patterned papers which I then wrapped with some turquoise ribbon. I then finished with a tab and a spotty Ribbon girl button. I have a few more Henry the Mouseprojects to share with you this weekend.
