MMCSDT - A Tiddlinks boy card for Character's week

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a lovely Weekend. It's my day for posting on the My Mum's Craft shop blog today. Our theme this week is 'Characters' so we will be sharing projects featuring some of our favourite Character stamps. I have always had a soft spot for Tiddlyinks stamps and have a lot of them in my stamps collection but don't ink them up enough! I have used the stamps from the 'My Boys' set on my card today and coloured the image in with my Promarkers to match the Bazzill basics from the Adventures pack.

My new sewing machine arrived this week so I used it for the first time to sew on this card. My sewing was a bit wonky so I went round the image frame twice. I got the hang of it better when I sewed along the edges of the sentiment strip.

Here is a close up of my coloured image. I used a mix of alcohol markers and then cut out the image leaving a small border before adding it to my card. I used the sketch from yesterday's Sketch Saturday Challenge.

I am still trying to join in with more Challenges and Sketch Saturday is one of my favourites! Have a lovely Sunday!

MMCSDT for the November Challenge - Autumn Colours

Hello again! I am back with my DT card for this month's My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge. Our theme this month is Autumn colours. I have used one of the lovely new Tiddlyinks images for my card and coloured it in using some of my favourite Promarker colours.

I used Echo Park papers from the Reflections pad which I edged with my sewing machine. I added lots of gorgeous flowers from The Ribbon Girl and a few other bits and bobs from my stash.

Here is a close of my image. She is so adorable and was so lovely to colour in. I hope you will be able to join us for our Challenge for the chance to win a voucher for My Mum's Craft Shop. Enjoy the rest of your Friday!

Friends are the Flowers of Life - Tiddly Inks Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! This is a late and quick post from me as I have decided to join in with the Tiddly Inks Blog Hop. I recently treated myself to an adorable Wryn Image and couldn't resist taking part, I hope I make it before the deadline!

I have made a card using Wryn and some gorgeous Fancy Pants papers, the sentiment was a freebie with the image. I layered up my papers onto kraft and added my usual stitching and some gingham ribbon and lots of flowers. I love this image and she was such a delight to colour too!
I will be back in the morning with my card for the second day of the Sugar Nellie blog hop.

Birthday Princess

I have a card to share with you today which I made after being inspired by Vicky's recent Union Jack cards made with this download from Crafts U Print. The backing paper is also from the same designer and is from a lovely vintage style download with some really useful papers.

I used the rubber version of Tiddlyink's Everyday Princess and coloured her in with my Promarkers to match the colours of the flag. I used Whimsy Stamps Postmark stamps for the sentiment and a used stamp on the postcard which was layered on top of a pink doily. As a finishing touch, I added a crown brad, some gems, flowers and a little spotty button.
I hope you are having a good Sunday.
