Pollycraft DT for the Pollycraft Challenge - Buttons and Bows

Hello Everyone! It's time for a brand new Challenge on the Pollycraft blog. Our theme this week was an easy one for me...it's Buttons and Bows! I love adding buttons to my cards and have lots of buttons in my stash which I love using or just looking at! I used 3 of them on my card and threaded them with some gorgeous hemp twine from The Ribbon Girl which I also tied in a bow on my tag which I popped between the layers on my card.

The cute little Monster I have used on my card is called 'Spike' and he is a classic from the Pollycraft cave. You can find him here. I coloured him in with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Graph'it pens and cut him out leaving a small border before adding him to my card. The papers I have used are from the Echo Park 'For the Record Documented' pad and I layered them on to kraft before adding them to my card. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches. Sugar Nellie DT - Sweet Success

Good Morning! I hope you are having a good week! I have a card to share with you today which I made using one of the adorable new Spike images which were release a few days ago by Sugar Nellie. This stamp is called 'Sweet Success' and is available to buy here from Funky Kits. I used Fancy Pants papers to create my layout and layered them all onto pink card before sewing around the edges. 

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you will already know how much I love gingham and I added lots to this card using some of my favourite gingham ribbon and a fabulous yellow gingham paper.
I coloured my image with Promarkers and then cut it out leaving a small border before adding it to the gingham panel with foam pads. I added a button and some flowers as a finishing touch.

Sugar Nellie DT - Introducing Spike Striker!

Hellooooooo Everyone!!! I am so excited! I have been waiting for today to finally be able to give you a sneaky peek at one of the gorgeous new stamps from the upcoming release from Sugar Nellie! The Design team are sharing cards on the Sugar Nellie Blog all this week and today it is my turn to introduce 'Striker Spike'. Isn't he adorable!

I created a little scene for Spike to kick his ball about in using American Crafts cloud paper and some spotty Echo Park paper cut with a Martha Stewart Border Punch.

The other patterned papers are all by Echo Park and the sentiment is an SRM sticker. I coloured Spike in with my Promarkers, he was so much fun to colour in!
