CES Challenge - Seeing Red

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and had a good week. Mine was busy and I am glad it is the weekend although I have a huge list of things to do! We have a great Challenge for you this week on the CES Challenge blog. The theme this week is 'Seeing Red' so we would like to see Projects using red as the dominant colour.

Red is synonymous with Christmas and it was also my favourite colour for shoes when I was a little girl, I still have a couple of pairs of red shoes and they still make me happy just by looking at them!
I have made a Christmas card using Season's Greetings Echo Park papers and a fab Santa stamp from The Octopode factory. I cut strips of different papers and distressed the edges before adding to the card and popped the Santa on top with foam pads. I added Snow writer to his beard and distress stickles to his hat.
Make sure you check out the Challenge blog for lots of inspiration from the DT and I hope you will be able to join in this week.
The lucky winner of this challenge will receive a £10 voucher (not incl P&P) from Crafty Emma's Store:

Have a great Saturday and make sure you pop back for my Sugar Nellie Blog Hop card!

CES Challenge - Recycle

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so happy it's finally Saturday! It's my Birthday today and I am going away for the night with my Hubby to Bournemouth! I have been looking forward to today for ages! Of course, Saturdays are CES Challenge day so we have a brand new Challenge for you this week. This week we are going green and would like you to......

Recycle!!!

We have been decorating our bedroom this week and my Dad fitted some new blinds for me so I used the offcuts we had to trim off to die cut with a Whiff of Joy flower die and make the flowers I have used on my tag.

After I had die cut them, I stamped them with a Hero arts Text stamp and added some distress stickles to make them sparkle. I have used a new Octopode Factory stamp I bought last weekend from the Sandown Craft show.
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. The prize for one lucky winner is a £10 voucher (exc p&p) to spend over at Crafty Emma's Store.

Make sure you hop over to the Challenge blog for some inspiration from the design team...
Have a lovely weekend!
