Whiff of Joy DT for the Whiff of Joy Challenge

Good Morning Everyone! I have another project to share with you today made using the gorgeous Henry with large bow following the sketch from this fortnight's Whiff of Joy Challenge. I loved using this sketch, it is a great layout! I made my card using the same papers as yesterday's bookmark which are from the Teresa Collins Spring Fling pad. 

I followed the sketch and cut the circle using a large die and added sewing around the edges of the cut squares. I coloured Henry using my Promarkers, he looks so adorable wearing his large bow! The sentiment I used is by Whimsy stamps and the flowers are from my stash and Whiff of Joy. I finished the card with a few little stick on pearls. Sugar Nellie DT - Spots and Dots

Good Morning Everyone! It's Wednesday and my day to share a card on the Sugar Nellie Blog. I couldn't wait to make a card and join in with the Sugar Bowl challenge when I saw Cathy's fabulous sketch. The optional theme for this Challenge is Spots and Dots. If you are a regular visitor to my blog you will know how much I love polka dots so it was a real treat to be able to use lots of these on my card.

I used papers from the Teresa Collins Spring Fling pad. The colours of the papers are so rich and the red reminded me of strawberries so I just had to use the Sugar Nellie Manga 'Strawberry Patch' image which is available here from Funky Kits. I coloured the image with my Promarkers before cutting it into a rectangle and mounting it on kraft card. 

I used a Fiskars border punch for the centre strip and the sentiment is by Whimsy stamps. I also added some flowers and a lovely spotty ribbon from my stash topped with a spotty button from The Ribbon Girl.
