Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Girls, Girls, Girls!

Good Morning Everyone! I apologise for my absence the past few days, I have stepped down from the CES Challenge DT as I am so busy these days so my regular DT post was missing. I hope you had a lovely weekend, mine was busy, lots of crafting Saturday and lots of sorting out my bedroom yesterday. My wardrobes now have hanging rails and I have finally been able to put my clothes away! Anyway, enough of my weekend, I have a lovely card to share with you today!

Girls, Girls, Girls!

I love the Swings and Slides and had so much fun colouring this Lil Kitty image, a lot of my teamies chose her as well this week, it is such a sweet and girly image.
I used My Mind's Eye papers to create my layout and coloured the image using Flexmarkers. I used some lovely ribbon from the Ribbon Girl and flowers from my stash and the adorable Butterfly button is from Crafty Emma's Store. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. More Fairy Glen!

Morning Everyone! I hope you are well, I am sooooooo ready for the weekend! Just one more day! I have another card to share with you today using a Fairy Glen image from the latest Sugar Nellie release. I can't get enough of these adorable stamps!


This card features the super cool Pippi Longsocks, I love her socks and trainers! I also admire her composure at standing next to a frog! I would have run a mile by now! I used Basic Grey papers for my card mixed with some gingham and notebook style paper from my stash and added a hint of dark pink with stitching and papers for matting and layering. The sentiment is a new purchase from a Whimsy stamps set and the flowers are from my stash.

Let them eat cake!!

Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and having a good week. It is my turn to share a card on the Sugar Nellie blog today and I have made a card using Echo Park and Pink Petticoat papers and the adorable 'Let them eat cake' image from this month's Fairy Glen Sugar Nellie release.

I had so much fun making this card for my very talented Friend Petra for her birthday. She bakes the most wonderful cakes!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Boys Boys Boys

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and had a good weekend. I was busy and managed to make 15 cards and 1 tag and I still didn't get to finish everything on my list! Monday is Pollycraft Challenge day and this week we have a great theme of 'Boys Boys Boys chosen' by Faye. So we want to see cards for the Men and Boys in your life this week.

I have made a card using the adorable Swings and Slides 'Taking a Break' which I have coloured with Promarkers and then cut out leaving a small border. I used My Mind's Eye papers and a little cap charm and a sentiment stamp which is one of my all time favourites.

Sugar Nellie Fairy Glen Blog Hop day 2 - Fifi goes walkies

Good Morning Everyone! Did you enjoy the 1st day of the Fairy Glen Blog Hop? Thank you so much for all the lovely comments you left on my post yesterday, I really enjoyed reading them all. If you are following the hop from the beginning on the Sugar Nellie blog you will have come here from the very talented Jenn's blog. The card I am sharing with you today was made using the very stylish' Fifi goes walkies' who is available to buy here from Funky Kits along with all the other new stamps.

I love this image and I used papers from the same pad of Echo Park papers you saw on my card yesterday but in a much softer colour pallette. I coloured the image with Promarkers before die cutting it into a square and layering it onto a scalloped square. The sentiment I used is by Hero Arts and I added lots of flowers and some of my favourite gingham ribbon topped with a gingham button.

Sugar Nellie Fairy Glen Blog Hop - Delia

Hello! Welcome to another stop on the Sugar Nellie Blog Hop! If you are following the hop from the beginning on the Sugar Nellie blog you will have come here from the very talented Marianne's blog. I am very excited as this is my first Sugar Nellie blog hop since joining the Design Team! The card I am sharing with you today was made using the adorable Delia who is available to buy here from Funky Kits along with all the other new stamps.

Delia was so much fun to colour in, I couldn't resist using lovely bright colours to match these gorgeous Echo Park papers. I die cut the image into an oval and mounted it onto a scalloped oval before adding it to the stitched layers on my card. The sentiment I used is by Hero Arts and the gorgeous vibrant ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl. The little wooden button is available here from Crafty Emma's Store.

CES Challenge - Seeing Red

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and had a good week. Mine was busy and I am glad it is the weekend although I have a huge list of things to do! We have a great Challenge for you this week on the CES Challenge blog. The theme this week is 'Seeing Red' so we would like to see Projects using red as the dominant colour.


Red is synonymous with Christmas and it was also my favourite colour for shoes when I was a little girl, I still have a couple of pairs of red shoes and they still make me happy just by looking at them!
I have made a Christmas card using Season's Greetings Echo Park papers and a fab Santa stamp from The Octopode factory. I cut strips of different papers and distressed the edges before adding to the card and popped the Santa on top with foam pads. I added Snow writer to his beard and distress stickles to his hat.

A Sugar Nellie Snowmen Christmas card

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and having a good week so far. I am already looking forward to the weekend, I have lots of crafting planned, my Commissions are piling up and I need to get them done. I have some lovely stamps and papers to play with so I can't wait to get started!

I have a Sugar Nellie Christmas card to share with you today which I made using the adorable Christmas Garland image which is available here from Sugar Nellie. The papers I have used are Echo Park Holly Jolly and I die cut a large doily to mount my image onto from turquoise card. The image was coloured with Promarkers and I added 'snow' and glitter to the image after I had added it to the card. The sentiment is a Magnolia one and the flower was from my stash.

Whiff of Joy DT - New Christmas stamps

Hello Everyone! I can't believe it is October already! Before we know it Christmas will be here! I feel like I have been making Christmas cards all year as I started making Christmas cards for Magazine Commission before the summer started so I am really looking forward to Christmas this year!

I was delighted when I saw the new Whiff of Joy release for October as I am a huge fan of the Whiff of Joy Gnomes, I think they make such lovely cards and are such fun to colour in. The card I have to share with you today was made using the gorgeous Boy and Star and have coloured him with my Promarkers and cut him out. The card was die cut using a Sizzix die and I matted and layered pattened papers and an embossed panel of Kraft which I had sewed around the edges. I wrapped both panels with Baker's twine before adding to the card and tied on a banner tag stamped with a Whiff of Joy sentiment.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Lou's sketch

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a good weekend. I can't believe it is Monday already and time for a brand new Pollycraft Challenge! We have a wonderful sketch by the lovely Lou for you to follow for this week's Challenge and you might need sunglasses before you look at my card today!

I have made a card following the sketch using a mix of Echo Park papers which were mostly taken from the Happy Days 6x6 stack. I inked around the edges of each layer before stitching with a Turquoise thread.
The image I used is from the Critters and Cogs Collection and is called Spike. I made the sentiment using a Hero Arts Stamp and K+Co stickers. I added a few buttons, a photo corner and a gem to finish the card off.
Here is Lou's fabulous sketch. I have squashed it down a bit but I think you can still see it on my card!

CES Challenge - Pretty girls

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are all well, I am so ready for the weekend! Last week was not a good one for me! Saturday is CES Challenge day and this week the theme is:

Pretty Girls

We would like to see projects featuring gorgeous girly images.

I have chosen to use a Gorjuss girl Sugar Nellie Foxy image on my card and am following the Sugar Bowl sketch and theme of Autumn.
