New York and the Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Anything goes

Hello Everyone! I am sorry I am a bit later than usual in showing you my card for this week's Pollycraft Challenge. I was away last week for half term in New York! We had an amazing time!
I will add some pictures to this post to show you a few things we saw but before I get to that, I have my card to share with you which I made for this week's Pollycraft Challenge. The theme this week is 'Anything goes' so I took this as an opportunity to use my favourite digi hunk Maurice! I made a card for someone at work who is retiring this week, a couple of days after his 65th Birthday.
He is an Arsenal fan so I made the card using some red spotty Echo Park papers and other patterned papers from my stash. I used a Tim Holtz die to cut the rosette and the numbers and the fence die is by Whiff of Joy.

Here is a close up of the gorgeous Maurice, coloured in with Promarkers and I added some glossy accents to his glasses.
I decorated the inside of the card to make it extra special using a football stamp and a sentiment stamp by Some Odd Girl. I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge for the chance to win a 5pk promarker set by Letraset

Make sure you check out all the details on the blog where you will see some fabulous projects from the DT. And now it's time for lots of photos from New York!

We stayed in a Hotel just off Times Square, it was amazing during the day and even more spectacular at night!
We were very lucky to get to see the Addams Family on Broadway, it was a great show!

On our first night we went up to the top of the Empire State building, we started queuing in daylight and it was dark when we reached the top.
The views were amazing, New York is so beautiful at night!

I loved the mix of old and new buildings and it was great fun walking around.
Rockefeller Plaza and 30 Rock was so tall you got dizzy just looking up to see the top!
We took the boat over to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to the Immigration Centre, the museum there is fascinating.
Last photo, the Statue of Liberty! Simply Stunning!
I will definetely be going back as there is still so much I want to do and see there.
Have a great Monday!
